Most people don't realize it is legal to have a sugar baby (mistress). The crime is engaging in business prostitution as a customer or provider. The judges through the years wrote case laws that legalized mistress-lovers relationship. In the case Cherry v Koch. 129 Misc. 2d 346, 491 N.Y.S.2d 934 (N.Y. Sup. Ct. 1985), the NY court declares mistress-lovers relationship as noncommercial. Com. v. Stephanie Ann Danko, 421 A.2d 1165 explains about mistress-lovers relationship is exempt from prostitution statutes. People v. Johnson, 376 N.E.2d 381, 17 Ill.Dec. 382, 60 Ill.App.3d 183 (1978)) provides social companionship exemption prostitution statutes. Bergen v. Wood, 14 Cal.App.4th 854 (1993) explains that a relationship that has companionship as a collateral is not meretricious. A good article to read on this issue is Motyl , Jacqueline. What is your definition of Sugar Daddy? Go get the book "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes." Since caveman times, there has always been the idea of the Sugar Daddy and even the Sugar Mama. Of course it is legal, if both parties are of legal age.

Do you mean as opposed to soliciting prostitution? Legally, you can't pay for sex. So just make it clear to the women that you aren't doing that.

God it blows my mind the dumb ******* answers people give. It is just another form of prostitution when sex is traded for gain their are undercover cops that hunt for this specific deal, my friend did 10 years in federal prison for this such thing!!!!
