What do you think of some countries banning rappers and thinner models from their countries because of the affect it would have on the children? I think it is rubbish because if they really wanted to protect children from harmful events shouldn't they also ban motorcycle racing and all the car races. Im sure a lot more kids would die from speeding than copying models and rappers.

The rapper you refer to is snoop-dog who was banned from the UK due to his previous drugs related offences. These offenses would also hinder and entrance into the US. So there is no issue here other than drug-use.

Skinny models were not banned by a country but by a city (city of Barcelona). This is how local democracy works, teh city counsel voted that modesl had to have a certain minimum weigth. Knowing the number of girls with anorexia, this seems at least as good a try as any other.

You make a good point though. There are lots of bad behaviours which can be copied by kids, ie violence in movies etc. Carracing at least has the message that you can only drive fast on a controlled environment.

They are banning them because their influence affects masses of people at once because of the reach of the media. Celebrities are very influential and younger individuals look to them as role models and have the mentality that acting like them or looking like the rapper or model will make them popular, successful, cool...etc. Pencil thin models encourage eating disorders. Rapper typically represent and endorse a violent, drug using life style.
Racing and other adrenaline driven events are only participated in by people that have that type of thrill seeking personality. It also takes a lot of money to participate in those events so they are not easily duplicatated by the average youth.

I know. On one Hand Sir Mix Alot would be happy because they are banning no butted girls. But on the other hand they are banning his rap music. It is a tough call for the mixalot.

the undemanding guy or woman is in simple terms too fat. the reality regrettably is that clothing do look plenty extra effective putting from a skeleton. the type industry is in the business enterprise of advertising clothing and could no longer do o.k. with its designs stretched over a barrel of lard bowling down the catwalk. those fashions incredibly inspire fat-assed women human beings to devour much less.
