Excellent platform, but have you heard a candidate for any office actually talk in depth about these important issues to our country and it's people. What's going on here?

The general platform? I'd agree with it.. but I'd want to know more about the specifics... like the exact plan for securing the border (I don't agree with the wall plan.. think it's a waste of money)... and cutting taxes may not be an option for a little while with the way our debt has piled up... I'm not saying add more.. but they better cut some major fat out of the budget or the nation will be in major debt long after we're dead.

Wouldn't save jack. "My top 3 things to save money are...cut welfare, end subsidies and illegal immigration - what are yours?" "Welfare" costs almost nothing, cutting would save next to nothing. A drop in the bucket. "I would get rid of most entitlements. I would give Social Security ONLY to people who paid into the system and then I would make it private." You would screw people by making it private why? It pays for itself, every worker contributes, the only people who don't pay who collect are family of people who did pay like a spouse or child when the parent dies. I know you want to kick kids to the street if a parent dies because technically they didn't pay, I guess you think we should just keep the change and send it to the wealthy, not going to happen. "I would end subsidies for business. I would not not tax them to death either." Most business pay very little taxes anyway. Sure end subsides, it might save a little but your tax policy would most likely be giveaways anyway to offset any gains. "I would close the borders and send back all illegals." Which would cost many billions of dollars. Your talking about one of the biggest migration of people in history, like 5 times more people currently in every jail or prison in America. It would cost an unimaginable amount. "I think America would flourish with just those 3 things as a START!" Nope they would either hurt or not help. How about cutting wasteful defense spending? having the wealthy pay taxes like they used to? Getting rid of this free trade BS?

Most Americans wanted to close the border to prevent illegal immigration, cut taxes and stop the Iraq war to save expenses.

The first two are good ideas. We need to maintain a military presence and strength overseas to insure that war does not come to our shores, that when it is necessary it will remain on the enemy's soil. That has been our position ever since WWII.

This American would. Immigrants are what this nation was built upon. There is no need to close the borders.

Perhaps you should increase taxes to apy for things you do not have like universal healthcare, or repay some of the billions of dollars of debt you owe the world. Honestly!!!
