Im in the Coast Guard (MST), I have never heard of this split training program. The reserves is a great option, getting to go straight to "A" school.

Going straight to "A" school will save you a lot of time, before making Petty Officer status. It took me 1.5 years to get into a school.

This sounds wrong, but many reservists go to A school, get there crows, then go active. It under cuts active duty members who are waiting to make it, but it works out well. If I would have known this I would have done it. Also you have good control of your future, if they can't offer you a billet at a station of your liking you stay reservist.

If you want any info, I will give you my truthful opnion, not what the CG wants to tell you.

Good luck, the Coast guard kicks ***, definetly the best decsion of my life (accept my wife of course). We are small (under 40,000) and we are a real family!

infant look, while you're quite 13 do not subject approximately it authentic now. first of all, COD:MW2 is basically based off of a team of unordinary spec ops job forces. meaning its area of the political bs mess it quite is USSOCOM. it is not your person-friendly Marine. Secondly, the youngest you may connect is 17 and thats with parental permission. that may not look a techniques off, yet fours years is a protracted time. i'm not attempting to squash you or something, you look like a stable infant. connect JROTC once you get to severe college. collectively because it won't probably supply you a style of the protection rigidity, it provides you with the prospect to communicate on your "instructors" approximately their time interior the protection rigidity. I had a NJROTC unit in severe college and a retired 1st Sgt grew to become into in fee. He have been given me fascinated interior the Marines. it quite is the fast term advice. in case you nonetheless opt to connect once you're 17 or 18 by potential of all potential decide for it.
