What are some of the Canadian sterotypes Americans have towards them? How do you view Canadians as a people, government, or military?

I want to write a letter to the judge that will be overseeing my sister's case and because I am not able to travel out of state, I would like to give the judge information that she does not have, that would help my sister out. She is in a county jail in Florida and she is there because of fraudulent activity/theft but she has children and no other support. Do you have any advice in this process?

I already have they can recieve life in prison with parole and the death penalty. I also need reasons why they wouldn't be put on death row.. {Think as the mind of a criminal} and the crime wasn't severe enough to recieve capital punishment,, I'm sorry if this is confusing..

My friend is being charged with underage alcohol possession and Drug possession (under 28 grams) in Fairfax County Virginia. I was smoking with him in the room but was not present when the police had arrived. When I came back to the room I said the bowl (paraphernalia) was in my possession ( I was holding it for a friend). The police told me that I was not getting a court date because I was cooperating and what not, but reminded me that in the state of Virginia they could have. Now my question is, when my friend goes to court and he tells the judge that I was smoking with him and that the bowl was mine, will I get a punishment as well even though I did not have a court date? If so, what are my chances of going to jail? Thank you.

Ok so we're at the bar on Friday night and my drunk friend throws her drink at the bartender. She calls the bouncer and he is kicking us out. I try to explain him that I'm just waiting on the bartender to bring my tab. Anyways he starts talking **** to me and I'm like dude get the **** off my face and stop acting like your about to hit me.. Anyways he's like you don't think I will I'm like hell no you work here.. My friend comes and hes like dude just chill we are closing the tab and were out... Out of nowhere this big *** black bouncer hits him in the face twice. We try to press charges and the cop which happens to be black acts like he doesn't care and we can't press charges because there was alcohol involve. I mean **** he got hit outta nowhere. Is there legal way to do anything about this? I mean cop arrested my other friend (the girl that threw her drink at the bartender) for public intoxication. I think he was just being some racist prick. I need some advice on this matter!!!

I have been with my current employer for about 2 months now. I have found out it is not going to be as good of a fit as I at first thought. I may end up landing a position that pays double what this one does. The people at my current job are terrible. They take everything personally and if I give 2 weeks notice it will be hell. Is it feasible to give 1 weeks notice or less if I haven't been here past my evaluation period? This is a professional position at a not so professional company doing Network Tech stuff at a small town ISP.

I read a book on the Civil War and found out women where spies but not soldiers in the Civil War. I asked her maybe because Women reproduce and usually where needed to weave or cook or be a Mom. But another boy told me (I don't know who that kid was) women aren't as strong as men. I don't agree with what he had told me but i would like get a good answer.

If the world just laughed at Chavez or Bin Laden everytime they spoke don't you think that they would have a hard time leading their people? I wouldn't want to follow a leader that everyone else believes is a joke.

I think instead of telling him to "shut up" everyone should have just laughed uncontrollably everytime he opened his mouth at the Ibero-American summit . That would have been cool!

See, I'm 16 with a car and I was hoping to go to an interview at Chick-fil-a on Wednesday. However, I just thought about if I would need a job permit? I am filling out my application right now and it says "Are you eligible to work in the U.S.? Check yes or no (Proof of eligibility is required upon employment). Is this talking about a work permit? If so, how do I go about getting one and how long should it take?
