I don't necessarily get teary eyed, but I do beam with pride and sing along with the greatest song in the land.

I can't say I have ever cried, but my eyes have watered on several occasions.
And to me, the national anthem is not only a song about our flag, it is a wonderful tribute to those who have fought to keep America free.

I watch a lot of football so hearing it all the time has taken abit of the emotion out of it for me. But I still get a lump in my throat every time I hear "...gave proof through the night that our flag was still there" See I got choked up just typing it.

I do get teary! I was at an NFL game last Sunday, and that's the first time I'd heard it live in awhile! It does bring a little joy and pride to me!

Especially when I see the Young Soldiers that salute the flag. It takes me back a few years.

Well.....I defiantly know Barack Obama (you know- the Democratic guy who is running for President) doesn't. He couldn't care less to hold his hand to his heart nor recite the Pledge of Allegiance. What kind of canidate is that!!!!!

I get teary because I remember what it took to get us here and how humbled I am by all the sacrifices that were made.

I got a little choked up once. It was played at the end of boot camp when you trade your 'Recruit' ball cap for a 'Navy' one.
