Ask anyone who has met the President... he is not the person you see on camera.
I don't know if he's got stage fright or what, but the man can't get through a speech without tripping on his tongue.
It's a shame that he doesn't pick up what FDR used to do... Fireside Chats.
Get on the radio and speak plainly... no big words... no fancy speeches...
I'd suggest that if he did that, people's opinons would change.

The worst public speaker to hold the presidency in my 58 years.
The top speakers: President Reagan (by a huge margin), President Clinton, President Kennedy, President Nixon, President Truman, President Carter, President Johnson, President Eisenhower, President Ford, President Bush (1).
The current Mr. Bush looks like a deer in the headlights.

President Bush has a lot of "support." Thus, he is able to have his "speech material" already prepared for him.

No, he really isn't. Whatever perceived strengths the GOP believes he has, even they acknowledge that Public Speaking just isn't one of them. He just makes up too many words. Strong Communication skills also involve active listening- and the President hasn't listen anyone in quite some time, unless they were prescreened by his staff to ensure that they already agreed with his insane views.

LOL! I don't think he ever passed his ESL courses!
I voted for the man twice and consider it cruel punishment to have to listen to him speak. Thank God for transcripts available on the internet!

He isn't the best communicator but he makes up for it by working hard to put food on his family.

He's purposefully weak. His intention has always been to hide his goal, which is moving American wealth from the Middle Class (look at the percentage of American capitol in Workers hands prior to the "Regan Revolution") to his personal group of friends, the Ultra-Rich, who sit around all day waiting for the dividend checks to arrive.
