No, unless you are a British citizen or or have a permanment right to abode (You are not on a visa), there is no automatic birth right in the UK or Northern ireland.

A child who was born in the United Kingdom on or after 1 January 1983 will be a British citizen if either the father (see Note 3) or the mother is a British citizen.
~A child who was born in the United Kingdom on or after 1 January 1983 will also be a British citizen if either the father or mother, although not a British citizen, is legally settled in the United Kingdom.

~In any other circumstances, a child who was born in the United Kingdom on or after 1 January 1983 will not be a British citizen.

If neither parent is a British citizen, a child born here on or after 1 January 1983 will still be a British citizen if either the father or mother is legally settled. 'Settled' means ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom without being limited under the immigration laws as to how long the person can stay here.

For this purpose, a person cannot be ordinarily resident if he or she is in breach of the immigration laws. We do not consider certain members of diplomatic or consular missions, or members of visiting forces or international organisations as being settled here, even if immigration control does not apply to them.

If neither parent is a British citizen or legally settled here, the child will not be a British citizen at birth. So, if a married couple have only been allowed into this country temporarily, for example, as visitors or students, or to work, and they are still limited as to how long they can stay, or if they are staying on without permission, *their child will not be a British citizen at birth*.
~ Nor will their child be a British citizen if they have entered the country illegally (for example, without being examined by an immigration officer or otherwise in breach of the immigration laws

Your child will be a UK citizen if either of you have Indiefinite Leave to Remain here. If you don't have that now, but get it later, your child will become a citizen at that time. Otherwise, your child would normally have Bangladeshi citizenship.

Sounds as though you reasoning is that a new born child will assist you to get british citizenship. The baby and yourselves can get citizenship by going through the proper channels.Your question is without doubt appaling use of a new born baby, and is disgraceful.Yahoo take note.

I believe that your child will only qualify for UK citizenship if one or both of you and your partner are legal permanent residents of the UK at the time of the baby's birth.

If neither of you are legal permanent residents but have temporary residency, your child will be permitted to remain in the UK for as long as either or other parent may remain in the country.

If neither of you are legal residents, your child (like you) will be liable to removal by deportation.

I can see why you'd want your child to have a better citizenship... Bangladesh is turning into an Islamist hell on earth - people hacked to death with machetes in the street - barbaric! But seriously, I'd advise you to try for US or Canadian rather than British - you know how stupid and racist most of those Britishers are!
