I just noticed that some higher-ups (like my dad) only carry pistols instead of rifles.

I am getting so sick of Dog wimping and whining and apologizing like some little baby. Nobody goes around saying MFn nigguh as freely as he did and not be a racist. Michael Richards same thing now i was born at night but not last night. I have been around people long enough to know a racist because i am one and freely admit it. Now i realize that Dog would lose his job if he admitted it and Richards would probably have been black balled but hey Chris Rock uses the word freely and hes made millions doing it Jessie Jackson uses the term Hymie Al Sharpton has insulted white people for a living and makes money doing it. So i ask you isnt this a disgusting double standard?

I have to fill out a request for a background check with the state police for a security job and the form says to only use a typewriter-who has those any more? I called the library and they only have computers to use, should I just neatly print to fill out the form or where else can I find a typewriter to use for 10 minutes?

I will! From this day forward I will NOT buy a product made in China. Here's why:

It's no surprise that the Chinese Government hates us. Why wouldn't they subtly try to kill us? If you kill our children, you kill our future.
Also it forces large corporations (who get government fringe benefits, but yet don't support our Country) to bring it back home or to an allied country. In turn that brings back job (creating more spending in the long run, and quality products).

I know we'll suffer for a bit, but not for long. If you light a fire under these Corps. imagine how fast they'll figure it out when you hit them in the pockets!

We as Americans NEED to stand up and say, "ENOUGH"!
Who's with me?
Seriously...from today on, "I Plege to NEVER purchase ANYTHING That is MADE IN CHINA"!.

I seem to recall that for months I've been seeing liberals post questions about their accounts being deleted and conservatives told them to stop crying. Now that conservatives are getting suspended it's a liberal conspiracy? I'm afraid that I don't really understand...

When slim, they would be released.

Thoughts?

PS. Not going to do it. Its the ethics Im asking about. Is the infringement of their human rights worse than the clear early death they face?

My son is wanting to join the army and wondered if you joined up as a regular, if he had the potential/apptitude or whatever could he go on to be an officer? Or in order to be an officer would he have to go down the Sandhurst route from the outset?
His grades from school aren't fantastic, certainly not university material. Any sensible advice greatly appreciated.

going to start compulsary re testing drivers at say 60yrs old?
I am 44 and have MS. I had to have a driving assesment and was then issued a 3yr license. I dont have a problem with this, as I fully understand the reasons. but, how many olderr drivers have you seen that are, in short, a danger to other road users.. a lot of older drivers do not have the speed of reaction to deal with todays driving conditions. when are the government going to wake up and smell the coffee???

the housing market has plummeted, the stock market has sunk, you can't even get a decent interest rate on a CD or money market & Pat Robertson endorses Giuliani for more of the same? I guess we'll have to invest on the war, like they have.

We have a Mayor (with only a GED so he isn't too bright) who has decided to rehab a 15 story hotel that has been vacant for 20 year. The no-bid contracts are going to organizations ( rumored to be mob related ) outside of the city. One appraisal said the building had a negative valuation of $760,000 and should be demolished yet they are moving ahead to spend millions of city funds for a project with no market value. Common sense does not deter these plans. There are environmental issues (asbestos / mold / etc.) and the heating, plumbing would need to be replaced. This is the old Sheraton hotel in downtown Gary, Indiana.
How can we appeal to the courts to change this course of action? Many people believe this is another run on the city's treasury, (however small)... by outside organizations. There are many good citizens remaining in Gary, Indiana, who love their homes but are frustrated by the lack of civic leadership. How can we appeal to the courts at this point?

32 little American kids died in Waco. Clinton and Reno allowed weapons that were banned under the Geneva convention to be used against little, innocent American boys and girls. Those kids ended up dying.

In Beslan, men who say they are Muslims shot 243 little boys and girls. Those kids died.

Which is worse? Banned weapons being used by the American government under Clinton against American boys and girls or the Beslan events?

Since factionalism has reached hysteria, and compromise seems impossible, wouldn't the people of the United States be better off agreeing that the experiment has failed and it might be better to go their seperate ways.

I am retired Air Force and a former B52 pilot. Never set foot in country, thank God. But I sure owe a lot of those veterans a lot of thanks. You saved plenty of my friends who would have been guests at the Hanoi Hilton.

Lately I have seen in this section, that we were not spit on, we were not called baby killers, Jane Fonda is a hero, we should have fought for the North Vietnamese, we went out and purposely shot and killed innocent women and children. What are they teaching the kids in History class now? Maybe it is time for us to stand up and be counted. I am proud to have served. I never wanted to be in a war, I never wanted to be a hero, but I do want the respect of the people I served for.
