Yes, they have. The problem is that the Republicans tend to get uglier in their questions and answers, so they get suspended easier.

If you look at my answers and carefully read my questions and have been here for more then the last year you will know that I have had 8 accounts closed down . This was not done by people who agree with me . Its done by people who believe in God and can not stand the truth that religion is man made and that not even the slimmest chance in the world it was even inspired by a God .
SO most people put me down as a far out left leaning wacko .
Truth is because God does not exist , all you get is this life , and its a shame that people call themselves conservatives when what they should be called are fascists . Police states and prisons for all those who transgress the laws .
Any how it probably took a lot to knock of Suthrnlyts and brian and they can do what anyone else does and open another yahoo account .

It doesn't matter, liberal or conservative...whatever..YA accounts are suspended right and left (riiiiight... suspended=nuked for good) whenever, wherever as the Shakira song goes for no reasons and with no warnings or violations, esp if you are level 7 and one of the top answerers in more than one category with a good percentage of best answers. It is not a democracy here, it is something else entirely (left unsaid for obvious reasons).

I've been suspended twice. Yeah, me, a self-described liberal who's active in the Politics area.

Henry VIII is hardly a conservative and his account was suspended too. Who knows what YA is up to. It kind of makes you want to use Google or something else and tell Yahoo where to go.

certainty verify: the two liberals and conservatives get stated and suspended, Sparky. concern with the cons is they think of it to be some style of conspiracy. it rather is basically area of the psychological ailment observed as conservatism. LOL! Cons HATE info, reason, and certainty. ROFL!

I was suspended about 2 months ago (Liberal)
But what gets me is that I STILL get best answers on that account.
Y/Answers must be run by inept Republicans.

Well, I am guessing that Y\A doesn't bother with checking the validity of the violations. I got a violation for answering " ho hum".

Round up a posse and take action. Making people aware of a problem is not "crying." Facts are facts, and the fact is, the top politics answerer was suspended after receiving 30 + bogus violations in one day.

Yes - three liberals got suspended from my favorites alone in just this week.
And I don't remember any of them being particularly offensive.
