I am getting so sick of Dog wimping and whining and apologizing like some little baby. Nobody goes around saying MFn nigguh as freely as he did and not be a racist. Michael Richards same thing now i was born at night but not last night. I have been around people long enough to know a racist because i am one and freely admit it. Now i realize that Dog would lose his job if he admitted it and Richards would probably have been black balled but hey Chris Rock uses the word freely and hes made millions doing it Jessie Jackson uses the term Hymie Al Sharpton has insulted white people for a living and makes money doing it. So i ask you isnt this a disgusting double standard?

Yes it does seem very much like a double standard but I do not believe Mr. Chapman is racist.

CONGRATULATIONS TO DUANE, TIM, LELAND AND THE WHOLE FAMILY. It is about time the Mexico thing is over. It never should of happened in the first place. Mrs. Beth Chapman ~ congratulations to you for staying so strong.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I first heard the short version and just now got to hear the long version of this phone conversation between Tucker and Mr. Chapman. I hear a Father disciplining a son (Tucker Chapman) whose girlfriend (Monique Shinnery) was making threats and stirring up problems between the family members prior to this tape recording.
It is extremely obvious Mr. Chapman was correct in his assessment of the whole situation concerning his son Tucker and his girlfriend Monique. While Mr. Chapman is talking to his son ~ the very son ~ who is secretly recording this conversation is lying to his Dad on this tape about his girlfriend Monique's intentions BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT JUST HIS GIRLFRIENDS INTENTIONS ~ OBVIOUSLY!!!
Shame on A&E and Black leaders for getting involved and promoting a rebellious son.
What I don't get is how Tucker is swearing that Monique wouldn't do something like this and accusing everyone involved of lying about Monique trying to do this BUT HE IS SITTING THERE DOING EXACTLY WHAT HIS FATHER AND EVERYONE ELSE felt Monique was trying to do.
My goodness give some credibility to Mr. Chapman for calling a spade a spade.
He obviously should of cut his son out a lot sooner but as most fathers wanted to believe in his children. He just thought it was LOVE that was causing his son to not see clearly when in truth Tucker and Monique are both being troublemakers.
Tucker Chapman and Monique Shinnery need to apologize publicly for getting paid to release a private conversation and ALL the things they did prior to this conversation that was causing problems within this family.
As far as this girlfriend goes (since it is obvious she don't like her boyfriends family) she should do like all the other girlfriends who don't like their in-laws or in her case her boyfriends family ~STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
If 'ol Al Sharpton and Jesse don't admit to being racist than Dog shouldn't. I know a word that would get me tossed off of this forum, and it isn't whitey, honkey, cracker, etc. For a better understanding of this double standard, do the following; have a group of black guys go onto a college campus where they'll be noticed and have them start yelling black power, the next day repeat with white students. Or how about this, just try and get the White Entertainment Channel started and on cable.
Using the N words makes you no more of a racist than sitting in church makes you a Christian, it's the lifestyle you lead and the choices you make--actions. I agree with you though about the double standard. I've had this discussion with my husband. I said if Jesse Martin (a black guy on Law and Order) said Cracker or Honky (sorry couldn't think of a white slur) in a phone call would this ever be an issue?
Dog Chapman has publicly apologized for his biiracial double standard epithets. He is going through a great deal in his life, and his personal matters are up to him and only him. I accept his apology as not hearsay but to the heart, and not categorically. I forgive him, because I know the going gets tough, and the tough gets stronger. I loved his show, and won't stop watching it either. I know all celebrities have their shortcomings, and it just goes to show that not all celebrity banters are worth tape-recording. Duane the "Dog" Chapman needs to accept his pit-falls and make reconcilliations with the family of the victim. Nobody on earth should be subject to racial slurs and bigotry; no matter what color, sex, ethnicity, or sexual provocation you happen to concur.
What is your question? Is it about Dog Chaoman admitting to being a racist or whether or not there is a disgusting double standard? Dog Chapman should make up his own mind about his feelings. Yes, there is a double standard and it is perpetrated by both sides.
I think it's a crock that they pulled his show over it. I never like the show but an African American( stupid term either you're an American or your not!)) can freely use the N word with no problems and there fore anyone should be able to use it. It's a double standard and it adds to the feelings of hatredthat other races feel. it's like Preists saying being gay is wrong but it's okay for them to molest little boys.
It is a disgusting double standard for those leaders of the black community to say one thing and do it in a passive aggresive way. Is Dog a racist? Heck no. Is he prejudiced?
Yes probably. We all are to some degree, to some group or idea. I enjoy him and think he is a champion to people of all races. This is because he overcome difficulty and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior. he is not perfect but I think he can grow, as we all can.
This guy has a psychological ailment that's not significant if I forgive him or no longer. the only one he would desire to be asking forgiveness from is his son and his lady buddy and all and sundry else who have been on the receiving in of one of his racist rants. additionally going with the aid of the interviews and the rant he had on the telephone hes is extra frightened approximately his profession then something and he will say sorry one thousand million situations to get all of it lower back. yet he nevertheless care approximately his ignorant ideals extra then he look after his son happiness and his profession. He probable nevertheless blame this on the female thinking" If that n_igger wasn't interior the image we could be kickin lower back drinkin a chilly one". I additionally think of as evangelistic as he's, he would desire to truly have faith into what hes asserting and consider all of us as is bra no count the colour.
Can you say "double standard"
And I am not a fan of the Dog so I really have no intrest in what happens in this case.
But until blacks are labeled racists for use of words such as "cracker" etc( none of which bother us as we arent childish) then I will not take their claims of racism seriously.
That's the thing? Why do you want to say the N-word SO badly?
And for the poster trying to say that we're being "childish" because we get offended around the N-word... I'm a Black guy, and I'm telling you right now, you have NO idea what you're talking about. I prefer to be called just about any other name BUT that!!
