I would feel more secure if Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo or Fred Thompson were president. Especially Duncan Hunter.

Sorry bud, but I don't need a presidential candidate to make me feel more secure as an American. I also don't need any of them to make me feel proud as an American.
I would feel more secure in our country's future if we would elect leaders who had a more comprehensive regard for the planet as a whole though and of a party that placed a greater value on democracy- and that is why I will only vote for a Green, not any of the dwarves given press on Yahoo and beyond.
You guys have set the bar so low these candidates don't have to stand for anything!
Today the national debt has reached a new high, $9 trillion.

In honesty, Ron Paul.
Because he will stop these wars, bring all of our troops home & secure the boarders. (Including from Japan bases German bases etc.) Wasted money.
The other candidates have not said anything like this.
Also, secure can mean financially. Ron Paul is a genius in economics and will stop inflation! This is why the dollar is so weak.
The WEAK DOLLAR is the biggest threat to our country right now. I'm not kidding!

The one who will close the borders, deport as many illegals as possible by just enforcing the laws and the one who stands up against the enemy, outside the country and inside the country. All the social issues would be solved under that kind of leader.

The clintons. Everything went quite well when Bill was president. His little escapades weren't that bad. Doesn't every hot blooded american do the same ? Why should Bill be different ? I think he's entitled to some fun once in a while and its expected from an intern.

Hard to say, we have no idea who will actually be running for president in the next election.

McCain. Period. No one matches his experience or character. Find me someone who knows more about sacrifice and foreign policy, and I may consider a switch.
Edit:
Don't thumbs down me; give me facts that prove me wrong. i've looked hard. There isn't a better candidate.
