S I'm an Army NG SGT and a combat vet. I want to go ROTC, but I'm on an anti depressant. Will that stop me?
I love the military, the fact that I am on this drug does nothing to stop me from being a good soldier. I getting treated for stress to be a more effective soldier. Combat stress apparently finally caught up with me, but it was worth it and I look forward to doing it again. I love being an NCO don't get me wrong, but I'd love to be an officer and actually make policy rather than just enforce it. Hopefully somebody can give me some advice.

I already posted this but it says its closed to new questions.

These POS animals killed this little boy's miniature horse that was given to him by the Make-A-Wish foundation. These animals have no reason to live, it's time to ban these mongrels and exterminate them! Pit bulls have no reason for existing, they don't even make good guard dogs.

I might even write a letter to my congressman.

we have no more baby boomer politicians. The baby boomers are further to the far left or the far right as a generation, than any other generation that follows them. The Vietnam era split this very large and decisive generation. Will we be better off when Gen-X takes over as we may find more common ground?

Republican Ideals that works are full of common sense. It is based on simple straight forward ideas like a balenced budget, pay your bills and defend America and its principles. Republicans believe in being good citizens and niegbors but it is no longer straight forward or even honest? The Republican Party of today acts like they hate America and love some foriegn idea of domination and control over everyone else in the World. What went wrong with the Republican Party. Why did the Republicans become so dangerious to their own Country?

A senator served in JAG, and me and a buddy disagree if that type of service is the same as reguler service. I think it is just as honorable, if not more for foregoing a lot of money to take a crappy government job. What do you think?

Lately I've noticed there are a lot, and I do mean A LOT, of cars with their windows tinted on the front drivers and passenger sides as well as the dash. Correct me if I am wrong but I thought that was against the law, that is, except for law enforcement, particularly undercover narcotics, which seems a little silly in it's self, like drug dealers wouldn't notice that. I understand that the officers need to protect their identities but even I notice the tinted windows, not to mention the fancy cars. Has the law changed regaurding tinted windows and the average Joe?

Don't two wrongs make a right, haven't we paid our debt to minority communities? Shouldn't we be caring about what is right "here and now" and not worrying about if we are "nice" enough to everyone.

Political correctness offends me

At least, I've sure never seen or heard any statements from the major parties about what they would do to reduce this problem, and I think I've only ever heard one candidate address it (Gov. Phil Bredesen of Tennessee). Do they not care that much about this problem, or do they just calculate that the voters don't really care that much?

While I wouldn't expect it to be the centerpiece of a campaign, you'd think somebody out there would want to "declare war" on child abuse like has been done on drugs, poverty, etc.

Here's some of mine:

"The terrorists are right!"
"There is already a depression coming"
"We stand for whatever the Republicans stand for"
"Don't worry about the nukes, we won't"
"Bend over America, this wont hurt a bit ..."
"Free Koolaid and Tacos for Everybody!"
"HOW TO GET AMERCIA BLOWN UP ALL AT ONCE! WAR
IS FOR THE STRONG COUNTRIES, LETS ALL HOLD
HANDS AND HOPE WE DONT GET OUR *** KICKED BY
THE OTHER COUNTRIES!"
"IF U Only had a clue"
"I PROMISE TO ROB THE RICH AND GIVE TO THE
WELFARE LEACHES"
"Bend over!"
"Let's restore the constitution and use the patriot act as
toilet paper! As for feeding the poor, for sure, the republicans
don't want to use the slogan, but let's face it more people are
on some form of public assistance now then at any other time
in history. With Republican in control of the white house and
congress for a six year time span welfare still exists. We will
feed you for sure belongs to the republicans!"
"Vote for George W. Bush!"

Health care in the US is very expensive and miljons of Americans can't afford it. Biljons are in spite of that spent on war i Iraq and other places. That's something absolutely impossible to understand for most of the people in Sweden, where I live.
