seriously do you care if sombody joins the service on a waiver?
all the people i know in the military are telling me to give up trying to enlist because the dont want to work with a sick person. whice i stupid anyway cuz im not sick i just had a kidney stone from drinking to much soda granted that was dumb but hard a serious medical condition.

no, no one cares. lots of people came in on waivers.
i came in on a waiver due to a little conflict with the law at one point in time...
join up, honestly, no one would even know you had a waiver unless you told them... and then they wouldnt even care.

I dont think it really matters. Kidney stones aren't that big a deal as far at the military is concerned. Trust me, I'm an expert on this by now, my husband's been in the military for almost four years now and had somewhere around five kidney stones now. The first of which was before he enlisted. I say go for it!

If you want to enlist, enlist. The only place a waiver will show up is in your personnel file. The waiver will be dropped after you pass x amount of physicals and there is no evidence of a permanent condition. Also, no one cares in the military if you have a kidney condition (my brother-in-law had a kidney removed for cancer), or any thing that it waiverable

A kindey stone can cause from a number of things but it does not make you stupid, I am a ret navy guy and I had one while I was in. Look as long as they did operate and you passed the stone you should have no trouble getting your wavier.

nobody cares. my hubby is a recruiter, well station commander now. there are lots of folks that go in on a waiver.
you can get rid of a kidney stone and stay healthy.

You have my permission. Your friends suffer from low IQ if they think a kidney stone is a big deal. My best friend while active had 20/400 vision, never bothered me.

Waivers are given for an assortment of reasons, anyway.
