Get over it, when my ancestors bought you in Africa you were already slaves. They still have slaves in Africa to this day, and in many places across the world. My Grandfathers died so yours could stop pickin cotton so how about a little respect. Why don't you go do some work in Africa and lobby their govts to stop slavery and war, and tyranny, and genocide there!!

It's easy to recognize a cop car - the logos, blue lights, etc...and besides, nearly every one I've seen is either a Ford Crown Victoria or, lately, a Chevrolet Impala.

I've also seen some Dodge Chargers, Camaros, Mustangs, and Caprice's used as cop cars.

What about in the 1990s and below? Was there a standard police car that was used? Was it just the Caprice and Crown vic? Were others used?

What about the 1970s? Or before?

And were the cars then a special police package as they are now - souped up engine, suspension, electrical system, etc - or were they just normal cars with a police logo on the side and a light on the top?

(I'm just talking about CARS, by the way, not asking about SUV and truck police vehicles)

Before you latinos start calling me a racist think about this....if you took all the passion and unity that millions of you recently showed in your protests and applied that to reforming your own countries governments instead of trying to change ours you could accomplish so much that you wouldnt NEED to come here!!!!!! think about it mexico has more billionaires than the U.S. and has vast natural resources. WHY don't you try to fix your own countries??

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Six weeks into the state’s crackdown on illegal immigrants, 52 arrests have been made - with most of those arrested caught in routine traffic stops, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported today.

Some have hailed Gov. Matt Blunt’s new policy, but others worry it leads to racial profiling of Hispanics.

The Post-Dispatch report said more than half of detainees were passengers. One had a flat tire. Others were pulled over for speeding or failure to use a turn signal properly.

"I’ve never heard of anyone who is not Hispanic being taken in for failing to use the turn signal," said Tony Rothert, legal director for the American Civil Liberties Union office in St. Louis. He believes the Missouri State Highway Patrol lacks a "coherent policy" for deciding whom to arrest.

Blunt began the crackdown on Aug. 27. He pointed to an illegal immigrant from Peru accused of committing a triple murder in New Jersey while free on bail on a rape charge. Blunt said an earlier immigration check could have prevented the killings.

So the SAS both Australian and Brittish are among the Worlds crack troops, Supermen in their own rights and extream Endurance athletes. It's terrible and amazing how even the Best Troops are susceptible to an ambush and how a Talliban low life can neutralise a legend ! RIP.

"With no new evidence, Fox continues to ask: Did al Qaeda burn California?

For the second straight day, Fox News stood virtually alone in advancing thinly supported speculation to raise fears that the wildfires ravaging California are not the result of a confluence of arid heat and high winds but were set deliberately by al Qaeda terrorists bent on destroying America."

"Camerota said Fox's fear-mongering was "based on some information the FBI sent to local law enforcement in California and other Western states ... that there was a plot afoot to set three or four different" fires. Left unsaid by the Fox news-reader was that the FBI warning was sent more than four years ago, described a potential plot that made no mention of California, could not be proven accurate and did not raise alarms from forrest-fire officials at the time. (Such caveats all were included in an Associated Press report on the warning at the time.)"

things were better when we the people were given info on a need to know basis. why does the public need to know the small details before the government has even decided what the options even are?
if you think I am wrong, tell me how we are better off now than when the CIA was able to take care of things before they reached war status. Bill Clinton crippled the CIA and our Military that is a lot of why 9-11 ever happened. It also seems to me that there are many Americans that think, if our Great Country become a mass of hand holding pot smoking hippies we would be better off.

Do you think they have an unfair advantage over the "typical American" who aspires to become President someday? (such as..previous connections, a hefty war chest, name recognition...)

less? Good.

So why is it that the politicans in Washington, with some of the most important jobs in America, get to keep their jobs when their employers (US Taxpayers) give them such poor approval ratings?

So I have severe eczema right now and I am taking a steroid cream and atarax, and they help a little as in the skin is more red and inflamed (about 35% of my legs), but not cracked and bleeding.

The thing that worries me is that it is severe and I found somewhere if you have it on your hands, you can be disqualified. I don't currently have it on my hands, but from 5th grade to 9th grade, I did have it on my left hand (back of the hand, center finger, and ring finger) plus a little bit around the wrist to pinky on the right hand. I've also had it on my elbow, knees, toes, back of the neck, and a small patch on my shoulder throughout my lifetime (it travels even though it supposedly doesn't.)

Does anyone know of anyone who has a severe case like me in The Army or any branch? I did score high on the practice test so does The Army make exceptions? I should be having my physical soon.

Today at my school there was a threat written in the bathroom. Tonight are principal sent out this message:Late this afternoon a student reported inappropriate graffiti written on a bathroom wall at our high school. The graffiti included threats against our school.

The high school administrative team along with the Avon Lake Police Department have taken all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, and staff.

On Friday, October 26, 2007, we will have additional law enforcement on hand throughout the school day.

At this point and time we have no reason to believe that it is necessary to disrupt our educational environment for our students.

Sincerely,
Dr. Walker

Do you think they are handling this situation properly? In this day and age you have to take all threats serioulsy and a couple extra cops at my shoool probally want make a difference if there is a problem. Should I stay home?

The republicans keep saying that Saddam Hussein was bad (the illness was serious), but a doctor first duty is to do no harm. And to kill the patient is "never" a good course of action; it is negligence, severe malpractice and homicide.

In Massachusetts there are very strict penalties for being pulled over for speeding if you are under the age of 18 years old, primarily the suspension of one's license for 90 days. Over the past summer, approximately 3 months ago, I was pulled over for speeding in NEW HAMPSHIRE, and I received a ticket. I paid up the dues on my ticket and never heard another word. Lo and behold, earlier this evening, I received a letter in the mail stating that my license is being suspended for the underage speeding. My question is, is there something wrong with this? New Hampshire law for speeding is not similar to Massachusetts law and considering I was in a different state and I already paid my dues for the offense, shouldn't I be off the hook? Please reassure me that I have a chance in my court appeal because this suspension will cause drastic inconveiniences for me. Thanks in advance.

This is my 3rd semester at this university and the same thing keeps happening. When I first started they asked me what types of accommodations are out there for deaf students. I gave them a list of possible ideas. We went with the icommunicator system but started with an interpretor until my professors were trained. I only used it in one of four classes and it didn't work. I spent about three weeks without an interpretor once we discovered that the icommunicator wasn't going to work. The second semester (spring 07) I had the same problem. I am having the same problem this semester. Since October 1st..I haven't had an interpretor in 3 of 4 classes. How do I go about filing a lawsuit against the insititution?
