Get over it, when my ancestors bought you in Africa you were already slaves. They still have slaves in Africa to this day, and in many places across the world. My Grandfathers died so yours could stop pickin cotton so how about a little respect. Why don't you go do some work in Africa and lobby their govts to stop slavery and war, and tyranny, and genocide there!!

I think I saw her questions also and responded to one, but there must be an agenda as one also said. The fact is that Europe didn't enter the trade unitl the Dutch took a small island (country now) off the western coast of Africa

They dealt with the Africans and Muslims. If you look at a map and the many small islands the religion is Muslim and these were different areas like the Dutch had. We will never understand what role this had in this, but one thing is for sure once in American in the South (check the laws) a person could be hung for harming one.

Once Europe abolished it that left America and we know the end story. By the way the South had no ocean going vessels and the northern states, such as Mass. brought them over. In Africa that would have been murdered, so many were saved and flourish today. The last big Slave raid was aby the muslims in 1874, but it still goes on today as news reports it.

So she may be looking for something, but history is history and it is true that starting credit is hard to do when you have nothing.

I think it could be another person just plying a game. One question I answered earlier mentioned the diseases brought to the Americans and how the Indian Population was devastated by it. I wonder why Asia, africa and the rest were not hit also only the Americas and Europe with the plague.
Take care. There's also a young lady that keeps raising cane about why men won't vote for Hillary and they are racist, seen that one, its about every three days.

There is a new kind of slavery and we just found out about it, it's illegal drugs and getting our children hooked on them. I think they will figure out how it gets here soon!

I haven't seen anything she has said. But I do know my ancestors did not bring slaves to America, nor did they ever "own" slaves. Southerners had a choice to either serve for the south or try to escape out of the south. Some unmarried men did manage to leave and sometimes whole families tried to get out of the way of the war. But to this day, some white people in the north think that all southerners are racists. So, she is not the only one who labels large groups of people, if that's what she did.

I think you can give yourself plenty of credit for contributing to the problem of our nation getting over racism.

My German ancestors were not even here. My mother's parents were dirt poor immigrant tenant farmers themselves.

But I get to deal with the negative perceptions of African Americans because of people like you. And I spend a great deal of my life's energy trying to help the ones who find themselves in trouble with the law or need a divorce.

Let's look at the mean income of blacks in this country vs whites in this country. Let's look at the crime rates. Let's look at the average education level achieved. You're so right. She has nothing to complain about.

This isn't disallowing you to call us the n-word she is talking about. It is about jobs, loans, lineage, inheritances, financial stability, social economics.... Things that really matter, especially if you are not on the right end of the stick.

Most African Americans think that all white people owned slaves. In fact only 1.2% of the population back then owned slaves. Its a fact that my wife has been trying to teach people with little success. Incase you didnt know she is African American.
