How does he know they are on the right path? The DREAM Act makes no provisions for finding out if they have broken the law, much less whether or not they are on the right path.

well I never thought I'd be saying that the hilebeast is correct but Obama has no where near the exprience to run a barber shop much less a country.

Liberals, centrists and conservatives are all opposed to amnesty. Obama isn't going to receive votes for supporting amnesty and he knows that.
He and the other candidates all know that rounding up all of the illegals, processing them and deporting them is a monstrous task that realistically isn't going to happen. Unfortunately, these politicians won't just say the truth, and tell us what they intend to do to stop the illegal flow into the country. The fact is, if they stop the flow, then every year as they deport 200,000 illegals, 200,000 new illegals won't replace them.
Personally, I'll continue to ignore the illegal alien problem with Mexico as long as we're accepting thousands of Saudis into the country each year. Mexicans aren't terrorists and I don't appreciate the smoke screens and diversionary tactics. Let's get rid of the Saudis first.

It's another voting block of people the Democrats can oppress with entitlements until they don't want to work anymore either and we'll be taxed even more to pay for all of them.
My sister-in-law is a former illegal Mexican. She has 13 brothers and sisters - 11 of whom live in the US. They all work. MOST of their children are in gangs, unwed mothers, uneducated (drop-outs) and basically worthless. This is what you are ACCEPTING in this country and it stinks.

I believe is talking about people who make good citizens, and come here for a better life. must you people always misconstrue everything?
If our government didn't do anything about them before they became productive members of their community and created a life and family, how is that not playing by the rules?
If an entire society allows you do do something, its pretty much playing by the rules.
