I want some of what ever Brittany is smoking.
Seriously, contact an ROTC unit nearest you....and ask the NCO there. At the very least, they can run a pre-qual on you and see what comes back. At my det we had to let a young lady go because of her depression issues/anti-depressent use but we've had other cadets who were able to stay with us....there's a lot of gray on this issue and you need to talk to the people who actually make the decisions. Not people who are writing whatever to fill the time.

You are a vet...do you know what code was on your discharge papers? Or are you still in? I'm sorry, I'm not very good with military mumbo jumbo like that. My husband has PTSD and depression....he wants to stay in the service but they are discharging him. I've been told by people with the same circumstances that you can rejoin a year after you are off of your meds and therapy...you also have to have a note from your doctors and any employer that you are working for stating that they do not have any issues with you due to your depression. If you are already in and they are treating you for your depression...as soon as you "get better" I believe you will be able to go ROTC as long as the doctors give you an a-ok ...especially since you are a Sgt and are probably liked. You should talk to the VA about this. Good luck, I hope you are able to go ROTC. I'll be praying for you.

If you where not already in the military, you could not join if you are on anti-depressent. Since you are already in, I do not know if you can get a waiver. I have seen people who where not normally legible for ROTC join because they where in the National Guard or Reserves at the time.

Mood disorders, including depression, are considered to be disqualifying for enlistment or appointment in the armed forces. That is how you will be judged on the medical fitness standards for ROTC and possible appointment as an officer.

I believe the person you are referring to is likely "the beast", i.e., 666 and all that. In particular about him, the Revelation describes: Rev 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. At the time the story was set, there had been five emperors of Rome claiming the title Caesar. The sixth Caesar, Nero, *was* at the time. The seventh who was to come and "continue a short space" was Emperor Galba, who succeeded Nero and only reigned for seven months before his death. So no, this man did not come from the Middle East, he came from Rome. His name was Nero Claudius Drusus Germanicus, and he died some two thousand years ago. .

if you are on them while Active duty and were prescribed them from your militray doctor, it can slow you down, but not necessarily DQ you from a Commission.
HOWEVER.. your chances are probably very slim. They don't need nor want Officers who need drugs to handle stress.
and JOs do NOT make policy any more than NCOs do.
