i am lebanese and born in Australia though. My parents were born there and lived there until they were married. I believe because there is no government or financial support and majority of people are either poor or struggling to make ends meet yes but they are a lot better off then many other countries so its between second and third world.

Um I dont think so there's some apartments there that cost like 2 million dollars.
