A senator served in JAG, and me and a buddy disagree if that type of service is the same as reguler service. I think it is just as honorable, if not more for foregoing a lot of money to take a crappy government job. What do you think?

We all bleed green. As soon as you raise your right hand and swear the oath, you are a soldier. It does not matter the job or rank. You volunteered to support our constitution just like any other soldier.

Yes because in some cases they protect soldiers and secondly they could be getting alot more money on the civilian side, so they sacrifice

They wear a uniform. They serve their country. You are correct. Your buddy is wrong (headed).

Maybe he just doesn't like lawyers.

any time you put the uniform on everyday and present your self as a soldier I believe that it is honorable service.

not really,it is just extra overhead that the military has to accept in their budget
