YES, IF we are allowed to openly discuss 'The good ol' days', with out violating the brilliant 'political correctness' that may be prevalent at that time. With the progressive trampling on our 'rights' now, and more to come, the future looks bleak and dim, at best.
The " Best Politicians That MONEY Can Buy" are in a 'Great Race' to see just how fast our American Democracy can be "polluted" , "prostituted" and "annulled" for their benefits.
Sad, Sad, Sad.

Thank GOD it's over!!
Democracy is the issue. Idiots think we are a Democracy and that the majority can vote what they will.
We are a Representative Republic, where people have rights that can't be voted out just because you can control the vote.
Democracy (and those that insist on manipulating it) loses.
About time.

"Come here, kiddies, let me tell you of a time when you could say what you wanted and not be afraid that the government would throw you into jail. When 'freedom of the press' was not a motto of the local dry cleaners and when there were only 29 amendments to the constitution."
(Sorry, I am a cynical piece of work.)

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what is for dinner.
That's why the United States is, and always has been, a Republic.

After Hillary Pelosi destroys the country, I hope I'll still be able to look back fondly and tell my grandchildren about the once great United States.

Don't know about you Kelly, but I can vote for anyone I choose, I can say anything I want about any politician without being jailed or worse and I can walk around without looking over my shoulder for the thought police.

We're a constitutional republic, actually.
Besides, what is the point you're making, specifically, and in regard to what?
