Now I don't want to offend anyone, I know there are some very strong opinions about what occured on 9/11 and I am in no way belittleing our soldiers, or the brave men who rescued as many as possible from the wreckage. I have heard a few different scenarioes of what could have happened on 9/11, and I've read about multi-billion dollar insurance policies covering terrorsim specifically, taken out on some of the buildings only weeks before the destruction. I would like to know how many of you have batted at the idea that this terrible event was some sort of government conspiracy. If you think it is possible, let me know what leads you to believe this. If you are adamant that we truly were terrorized that day, please tell me why.

Let's get down to the heart of the matter. Do you feel that our legislators are best representing the citizens, the big business dollars, or the special interest groups that finance political campaigns?

Isn't it time for a change? A change from the people?

I've heard the term "neocon" used a lot on YA. While I think many don't even know what the word actually means and just use it as a derogatory term, I am wondering what candidates are some people calling neocon and which candidates are simply consevative, and why.

I was skateboarding through a supermarket parking lot last Sunday. I wasn't doing any tricks like "grinding" or anything. I was merely using my board as a faster means of transportation. As I was skating, I passed a security guard who yelled "No skateboarding!" After that, I skated right past him and ignored him. He flipped a U-turn (as he was in a golf cart) and caught up with me half way through the parking lot. He pulled up behind me and again told me me to get off of my board. Not wanting to cause any trouble, I decided to comply. I picked up my board and proceeded to walk my way through the parking lot. All the while I was thinking, "what could this guy have done if I refused to listen to him?"

Does anybody know anything about this subject? If I kept going, could he have chased and detained me? Could he have confiscated my skateboard? Or could I have kept on skating as if he didn't even exist? Thank you

All social programs to help the lazy unfortunate were cut and we concentrated on what was really important? Protecting our citizens from threats here and abroad?

Earlier this week, my friends and I were enjoying a friendly game of poker. One of my friends who was at this game is a girl, who I actually attempted to date a while back, before learning that she was a lesbian, and her girlfriend.

Thinking that their four tens (four of a kind) would be a winning hand, her girlfriend suggested that my friend sweeten the pot by adding that the looser would have to give the winner oral pleasure and my friend placed this bet.

I was the last one in the game at this point and believing that it was unlikely that they could beat my straight flush, accepted this bet and won this pot.

While my other friends, myself, and her wanted to settle this account immediately, her girlfriend insisted that she was too drunk and whisked her away.

All USA attempts to undermine Cuba have failed.
Their economy is continual growth, of aprox 10%.
Most other sensible nations are trading with Cuba.
China is very very active in trade with Cuba.
Canada is allowed to visit & smoke cigars.

USA cannot visit nor smoke a Cuban cigar.
Ask yourself: is this sensible or neighborly?
Ask yourself: is this global or more flat earth?

Take this, for example.

I'm just wondering, because I don't actually believe Fox News is serving conservatives with anything more than a vehicle to laugh at how riled up liberals tend to become about their fake stories.

Also, I'm not talking about CNN, CBS or MSNBC, so please refrain from red herring fallacies.

Many of these fathers suffer mentally and emotionally. They are required, and they should be to pay child support if the mother chooses to have the child. Why would they not have something to say about aborting it as well? This would be fair and require all envolved to be responcible for their actions.

I’m in NY, my ex is currently responsible for 62% of my daughters child care costs, is that based on his income alone or is it also based on my income? I ask because we’re going back to court because he owes me money for summer camp and I’m wondering if the fact that I got a raise will reduce the portion he’s responsible. Thank you in advance for you answers! =)

In the UK, new laws state that foster parents must promote same sex marriage to children. I am totally in favour of same sex marriage, but fail to see why the State should dictate how families bring up children, especially as there is no such law for non-foster families.
And how will the social workers react when Muslim foster parents refuse to promote homosexuality and same sex marriage, on their own religious grounds? Will they be exempt?
