My boyfriend and i love each other he came here illegally and the only thing that is keeping him depressed is that he can't visit his sick mom in Nicaragua i really want to get him a green card and i want to know how? Would i have to go to his country and marry him there or are their other options?

I feel that the system is failing us, because those who work and don't make enough money should be the one's who recieve some type of help either by the form of daycare or foodstamps or both. I am from the days that those who help themselves should be helped, than those who just have their hand out. What is your take on this subject?

Only they say it was due to nothing but pure incompetence. While that is a good theory based on Bushs record, thats really too strange even for me to believe.

How can I find out if someone has a living revocable trust?
Is it easier to discover if they are their own trustor than if they have someone else as the trustor?

I don't have much money and have a small claims case and the defendant is saying that suing her is pointless cause she has no money. However, I know (believe) through a friend that she has a couple living revocable trusts.
How do I find out?

I've written some songs songs. I played them for a man I know and trust. he is a professional musician. He went and got a complete stranger and had me play it for them. They both are in love with my music now and they advised me to get and official copyright. well, i want to but idk how. they told me to record my music onto a CD, type up the lyrics and chord progrssions, and send them to Washington to be copyrighted. but idk where to send them or what to do from there. any advice?

I mean ... look at soooo many games and movies ... they will all have the same script ... some classified super secret defense department would be researching some super shitty defense project and suddenly it would all go wrong and the research project ends up killing many many people .......( maybe a hero comes and stops everything but we'll for the time being ignore that part ) :)
We have all discussed this topic but do you think IF the world ends tomorrow ,,, some way or the other some US defense 'project' would be directly or indirectly responsible for it ??

I had an interesting conversation with a buddy of mine who is visiting from SC. Before he left, he was ticketed for DUI. Not that this makes a difference, but he had a clean record and has never been ticketed with DUI. He says he blew right at .08 (not sure if calibration issues would have come into play here) on the test. Anyways, he never went for his court date on Sept. 19, 2007 and he is sure that his license is suspended and a warrant was issued for his arrest. The other night he was driving home late (not drunk he works a late shift at a job) and was pulled over by NYS troopers. They did a Field Sobriety Test on him and let him go. What he is wondering and frankly so am I, is how he was let go? Wouldn't the officers be compelled to run a check, especially on somebody pulled over on suspicion of DUI? Is there any odd way he could have slipped through the system in SC? Also, he was hired at a job that does background checks and nothing came up there either.

The church is only feeding the poor, getting people back on their feet, and keeping people struggling with life from doing harm to the community. We are an asset to the community, and yet Code Enforcement has decided that meeting and praying outdoors on our own property is UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY, and our food bank license does not permit us to give food to ANYONE! Has anyone had their answers or questions stricken from the records since participating within this forum? What was the excuse given for doing so, if this happened? Was it because another individual did not agree with your answer, thus making a "Much to do about Nothing" into an unwarranted something? Is Yahoo! Answers on the level regarding a level playing field or does it only allow what others dictate to be satisfactory regarding a host of various answers to a given question? Can people single an individual out, constantly bombard those who oversee, answers to have their answers stricken from the question, when it contained no profanity, did not threaten anyone, the answer just did not agree with another who gave an answer to the contrary! Censorship, based on unwarranted action is detrimental to Yahoo! Answers being a legitimate open forum website! If this is the case as I have experienced, it should be dually noted when asking individuals to join, a biased form of media Q & A!!!!!
