how do i get a single cell? i know you just cant request one but what could i say? i have aids? or a mental illness? anything i could do to get a single cell and not stuck in a drunk tank

Will an unaccompanied tour guarantee a Base of Preference?

We don't really like our current base...we're Air Force. My husband is thinking about an unnaccompanied tour. Just trying to get some info on if it actually gives you a base of preference or if it is worth it. If it's an 18 month tour, would he be allowed time to come home? Anyone with experience, help is appreciated!

no learner drivers?

As from next week no provisional drivers are allowed on the roads ( Ireland) without an qualified driver of two years , how will this law work , we know its for the good but it just isn't practical.

California Fires?

I've heard that the fires a much worse than they should be, because several suburbs banned preventive brush clearing and burning. I guess the reasoning for doing so was that it caused too much pollution. Is this true? Can you provide me with a link to this info?

If he's elected president in 2008, do you think Rudy Giuliani can end illegal immigration in 3 years?

His plan to end illegal immigration makes perfect sense to me, but I don't know if he would go through with it. He made NYC a sanctuary city for illegal immigrants when he was mayor.

what good has the iraq war brought to anyone?

[excluding halliburton, blackwater, and other private companies that have made money off of it]

terrorism is up (mostly only in countries that support the iraq war. ironic, huh?)

the country is in shambles. saddam may have been a cruel dictator, but the fact of the matter is that the country is in a worse shape now than it was before the iraq war. also take note how most iraqis want the u.s. out of their country, as shown by a poll done by the UofMaryland. i figure people will probably call me a liar for stating this, so if you don't believe me, just ask and i'll post the link

and lastly, no WMDs were ever found. therefore no lives were saved from the damage the WMDs would have caused. if anything, lives have been lost: 655,000 iraqi civilians dead as a result of this war and still counting. again, ask for link if you want it. i'm not lying.

A person has been suspended because she spoke against abortion in here?

Someone in here dared to speak out about abortion, and now her account is suspended. I thought liberals were open minded and "honored" other opinions inspite of not agreeing with them........????

Does the Congress have the constitutional authority to delegate its powers?

Likewise does departments of the government have authority to delegate their duties. I'm thinking of the Treasury Department that uses the IRS for collection of income taxes and if the IRS is a quasi-private body- how can they be represented by the Justice Department?

Are you in favor of federal laws or state laws?

Do you believe that laws and penal codes should be federally regulated (all states do the same thing) or should each state have it's own laws and penal codes for crimes?

How long does it take for me to get my Austrian passport from an embassy in America?

I'm an Austrian/American citizen (dual citizenship) and I need a new Austrian passport to go back this Winter and work.

I would like to know how long it takes for me to get the passport here, so I can tell if it would be faster for me to get it while I'm here or if it'd be faster if I got it over there in a month.
