The system would self - correct. Representatives would compromise and learn to work together. It's happened before. The real danger is in a rubber stamp congress like the 108 and the 109.

Judging by the Clinton years, I'd say the economy would be booming and the debt would be shrinking. (Ever wonder why the constitution goes out of its way to make law-making difficult?)

We have enough laws on the books. We do not need new ones. Enforce the immigration laws that exist. Quit spending other peoples money like your entitled to it.
