terrorism is up (mostly only in countries that support the iraq war. ironic, huh?)

the country is in shambles. saddam may have been a cruel dictator, but the fact of the matter is that the country is in a worse shape now than it was before the iraq war. also take note how most iraqis want the u.s. out of their country, as shown by a poll done by the UofMaryland. i figure people will probably call me a liar for stating this, so if you don't believe me, just ask and i'll post the link

and lastly, no WMDs were ever found. therefore no lives were saved from the damage the WMDs would have caused. if anything, lives have been lost: 655,000 iraqi civilians dead as a result of this war and still counting. again, ask for link if you want it. i'm not lying.

You are right. There isn't any good that has come out of Iraq.

Our government failed us.

We have a big military base to neutralize Iran from. Then all we have to do is change the "Q"'s to "N"s on the bombs and we're good to go. We will stop the sectarian violence when our traitorous media stops encouraging them by showing how vulnerable we are politically. If our country would show unity for 90 days, I bet we would be done. Think about this empathic-ally; if you were on the fence over there as to which side to take up, the Americans or the terrorists. Would our politicians constantly threatening to cut off funds, pull out if elected and talk of defeat encourage you to join forces with the U.S.? I wouldn't join the U.S. for fear of the Americans bailing on me if the political climate changes. The liberals know that their tactics create doubt in their minds and keep committing their treasonous rhetoric. Politically, the Democrats can't afford a victory in Iraq, they have no stake in it. They have been caterwauling since day one about how we lost the war, it's illegal, our troops are murdering Innocent people and so on, and a victory would be political suicide for them. They should be ashamed of themselves. They sicken me. ]
The consequences if we lose this war, are far greater than winning an election. I guarantee that if they take office, they will stay the course as well, they'll just do so in a way that they can benefit politically for it. These American hating liberals can't stand our troops being deployed to protect American interests. They don't mind our troops being used for a "Meals on Wheels" humanitarian group, which is what I thought the UN was for. America is the greatest country on earth, and we are mans last hope on earth for freedom. Thank a soldier.

Violence is down 70%
WMD's were found. He used them on the Kurds.
They are killing the civilians.
Terrorism is up, good that's more of them to kill.

Terrorism is up? Where in the US since 9-11? No WMD's, why have we not checked in with Syria? How do you know the country is in worse shape now than with Saddam? Because CNN says so? You have been exposed to too much biased media my friend. Maybe this is a war for oil, but you know what, we use alot of it.

I don't know what else this conflict really has done, other then creating a more experienced military, emptying the US's coffers, and money borrowed from other countries just to fill them.

oh you know very useful things like murdering more than sadaam ever did
carpet bombing with less than 2% "smart bombs"
presenting manslaughter as an "intelligent war"
destroying history of people
getting lots of oil for the US
provoking even more hatered of the Westerners in Irak
Promoting the use of violence in order to "stop terror"
Making the US feel big good and powerful because you know it makes so much sense that they SUDDENLY step in to Irak to "save it" with no ulterior motives...
nothing
nothing at all
and the poor soldiers fighting for an economic war for oil
anyone who sees any good from it is kidding themselves

your question is good but you should know who benefited from our invading Iraq, ISRAEL AND ISRAEL ALONE, we have lost many of our best men and spent our country into such bad debt our grand children will be lucky to live long enough to get it paid off, I can bet the people in Israel is jumping with joy , they have not lost one ounce of blood or spent one dime , as they tricked the U,S into doing their dirty work
D,C,TIMBERSTONE , f,y,i, Iraq was under U,S, and allied SACNCIONES for so long could that be why their system was crumbling? alsowher did youhear that Al Quada or O,B.L,were ever involved in Iraq until after Saddam was disposed of??? so what you say is not true and I have a feeling you know this also,

Depends on by what you mean by good. If it has shown people that leadership be corrupt and that we have lost our way as a country and people rise up to fight against the wrong doings then yes in a sense it has brought some good.

no good comes from any war, especially one that could and should have been avoided. bad things can be averted or alleviated by war but usually the bad outweighs the good except for wars to stop genocide or aggression, this war was for neither of those reasons...captaino these humanitarian acts would not have been needed if we had not invaded their country

Dems have something more to complain about even though they voted to go to war in the first place.

Oh, and we did find Yellow Cake.

Sorry.
