What are some of the major FAMILIES VALUES that the Presidential Candidates should be talking about?

We teach our children the Principles and Values of Free Individuals in a Free Society. Although at times we may fail, we work tirelessly to be men and women of Integrity, Self-discipline, Proactivity, Humility and Empathy. We believe in the Principle of Human Freedom to ensure we sustain our Free Society. We believe in the Principle of Universal Harmony so we sustain our Families by living in "synch" with the earth and our universe

Getting help to those families in poverty, who are dysfunctional, on drugs, alcoholics, and neglecting or ignoring their children. This could be done through the public school system.

General Family Values, such as teaching the Golden Rule, good citizenship, helping your neighbors, be kind to others, you know, the old fashioned values that have been lost in this country.

THE BEST IDEA YET? Mandatory parenting classes starting the freshman year in high school. Set it up so the classes concur with the schedules of working parents. It could serve 2 needs, cheap childcare for people trying to get off welfare, or families in poverty, or high school age parents still going to school. (Actually it would be a way to keep these kids in school.) Our children would then be able to learn good parenting techniques, thus avoiding raising their own children the same way they were raised, especially if they are in a dysfunctional family. We could teach them some of those important family values in school this way. I think there would be a great many benefits from a program like this, if done properly, and with flexibility.

We have to live on this planet, and it is about time we start taking care of it. We have done so much to harm this plantet.
