Wheres the Pelosi support team when good ole Harry is too cheap to put his money where his mouth is....

Limbaugh said he was matching Casey's bid by contributing another $2.1 million to the foundation, and urged Reid and other Democrats who signed the letter to do the same.

Reids response.....

Reid spokesman Jim Manley declined comment

note...no apology, no retraction, just liberal extremist business as usual...even when he is WRONG.

Personally I thought he was good one.
I read his book "My Life" and believed that he was a good president.
Then I read "Because He Could" by his former adviser Dick Morris, now I am confused. Your opinion?

I think he has a great chance of winning. People are sick and tired of the Republican Party turning it's back on the issues we care about, and the Democratic Party does not have a strong candidate in any of their people.... esp. Clinton.

Although it wasn't meant to be an act of charity -- it was a pathetic attempt at spite by Limbaugh -- Sen. Reid nonetheless was a big enough person and felt it was appropriate to praise the end result which was a donation to charity.

My employer has occasional mood swings and isn't easily approachable. Myself and other staff agree that she is imtimidating. We often work 10-12 hour shifts with no breaks and i believe that it is of her opinion that the staff will take no action, due the young age and naivity of the workforce.
Today after a ten hour shift i was told i could finish by the assistant manager, yet upon leaving the person in question challenged me on why i was leaving. I explained that the assistant manager had let me finish, and that i didn't realise i should have asked her permisson, to which she replied "stop being a sarcastic tw*t" This was in front of an audience of other employees and not only did she insult me she also undermined and embarassed the assistnant manager. similar Incidents have happened like this on other occasions and I am starting to wonder how to take legal action against this control freak of a boss? PLEASE HELP

Since the Ameican taxpayer is paying for your babies, your medical, education, affirmative action, paying no property taxes and driving our streets with no insurance just say thank you. It will not help much but would be the civil thing to do.

i really feel sorry for them. not the starving children, but the rich conservatives. poor them. they're not going to be able to install that fourth golden fountain in their front yard, because they're going to have to pay a couple extra bucks in tax money so those "irresponsible" poor people living with five siblings, a single mom, and no money can eat.

Are the rich too afraid of losing money? Are the Insurance companies too greedy and powerful to allow a National Health Care Plan? Many of us believe that Insurance companies and large corporations own our lawmakers from the city level on up to the Capitol building in Washington and the Whitehouse. I think THAT is the reason we do not have health insurance for everyone. Even our wounded Soilders, Sailors and Marines get lousy health care sometimes according to the TV news and news papers. (Ask a few veterans if you think that is not true).

After a police officer visited the local high school, the kids came away with the message that as long as they were on private property (any private property), that they can drink underage and nothing can be done. Is this correct law or did they get the wrong message. Tried looking it up but cant find any laws about it.

I am a Viet Nam combat veteran. I did earn my Combat Infantryman's Badge, Viet Nam Campaign Medal, Expert Rifleman's Badge, Unit Insignas and a Purple Heart for being shot through my right lung. So, those are keepers I did earn. But I have a number of others, that I will say were not really earned and even in service never wore. Fact with the other medals is there are others they should have been awarded to, many dead. No one witnessed their deeds though and I was undeservedly in the limelight. So do I send them back with a letter or just throw them away? It's been 40 years. My father who was at Omaha and WWII threw away his medals shortly after discharge. All of them. He had the same reasons but also disgust and contempt for the government needlessly wasting lives. He was in a Sherman tank division, far inferior to German tanks. And knew better ones could have been made. At Ohama, none made it onto the beach.

So that we all could be self absorbed, greedy, materialistic, sell outs???

Is this the American way?

The government outsourcing American jobs and creating wars of opportunity all the while eroding American civil liberties and telling us it's for our own safety???

Our government is making policy decisions that benefit a few and alienate the masses even though they place the burden of accomplishing their goals on our volunteer military???
And when the numbers of volunteers weren't enough they hired private mercenaries at three or four times the price??? How is that fair to the brave men and women of our military???

Why are we betraying the people we loved who worked so hard to the people of this country who have sold us out???

Thanks for taking the time to read my rant! This really upsets me.

I am a centrist and don't want either extreme to hold too much power for too long, it already seemed like the Democrats were set to rule the executive and legislative branches for the foreseeable future but now the conservatives have ensured this...81% of Americans including a MAJORITY OF REPUBLICANS support the SCHIP children's healthcare expansion that was just vetoed(http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/10/17/opinion/polls/main3378278.shtml)

What kind of political strategy is this? I guess they must have only polled tree-hugging Islamic communists
