Completly different Abrams is a tank ,AA7 is amphibious vehicle ...may be you should compare it with Bradley or the Striker

The M1A1/M1A2 is a main battle tank, armed with a 120mm main gun.

The AAV is an amphibious assault vehicle used to carry Marines. It is lightly armed and armoured compared to a tank.

The Abrams is an Main Battle Tank . AAV7A1 is an amphibious APC used by the USMC in amphibious assualts.

They are two totally different weapons systems.
