What is the difference between state and federal family leave acts?

What are the allowed terms for each (6 weeks...12 weeks) and do both pay and if so, how much or what percentage?

ANY question about STATE law that does not mention the state is IMPOSSIBLE to answer accurately. Under US Federal law, as it stands today, Family Leave is UNPAID. If a leave is paid, it would most likely be at full pay, but not necessarily for the full time you are on leave.
