So that we all could be self absorbed, greedy, materialistic, sell outs???

Is this the American way?

The government outsourcing American jobs and creating wars of opportunity all the while eroding American civil liberties and telling us it's for our own safety???

Our government is making policy decisions that benefit a few and alienate the masses even though they place the burden of accomplishing their goals on our volunteer military???
And when the numbers of volunteers weren't enough they hired private mercenaries at three or four times the price??? How is that fair to the brave men and women of our military???

Why are we betraying the people we loved who worked so hard to the people of this country who have sold us out???

Thanks for taking the time to read my rant! This really upsets me.

Fine. You are free to leave any time you'd like.

I live a blessed and wonderful life. I have a house that my parents never dreamed of. I have my own golf cart, live on a country club golf course, and have a backyard kitchen better than most people's indoor kitchens. I donate in excess of $20,000 per year to private charities. And, I have three wonderful kids who live better than I did at their ages.

Oh wait, you only wanted to hear from bitter, whiney liberals. My apologies; I'll leave you to your miserable existence.

Kelly B., Gal, YOU Have hit the nail, on the head, again!!!
SAD,SAD,SAD, to say, yes, you are right. About 72.872 % of today's America and world, think this is the right way.
BTW Kelly B., You should realise that IF you keep thinking intelligently, like this and many, many other times in the past 6 months, YOU just might come to think like an independent 'middle of the roader' American.
I pray that I am around to welcome you to the 'real' world.

I don't blame our parents at all even though the baby boomers have done much to ruin this country. I don't blame them because NOBODY could have anticipated the damage cause by George W. Bush.

The opportunity we now have IS what our parents worked so hard to leave to us.
Unfortunately, nuts on BOTH the far Left and the far Right are working hard to squander it. Their reasons are varied, but both extremes are doing us all a huge disservice.

Our time is a hella lot better than our parents. Hell if you only knew how scared my dad was when he was shipped to Vietnam.
I quote "When I first got off the plane I really had this feeling that the next time I would be getting back on it was with an American flag over my coffin"

I can almost hear my mother ranting from her grave. I'm glad she doesn't know what the country has become. I only wish my children didn't have to endure the hardships that the Bush administration has created.
I hate to think what the years ahead have in store for our country.

Welcome to the rebranded Conservative American dream. Questioners will be processed and re-educated. Resistance is futile. You are part of the collective now.
