Should I trust the Dems and their dire warnings about Global Warming since they've been "very accurate" with their previous dire warnings?

...that if we help those who are ALREADY HERE, who are worthy/not criminals to gain their citizenship, they will:
make more money
get educated
no longer have to hide
their kids will be happier, healthier
our government will collect income tax on them
(therefore it would be good for the economy)
they could eventually afford insurance
they could attend college

I think Americans would be satisfied if the government would do something to stop the flow of MORE illegals. To me, the problem is not what to do about those who are here already. I feel we practically opened the door. Wouldn't you come too if the shoe were on the other foot?

Would you be happy if the 12 million stayed, but no more free lunch tickets were doled out to others from this point on and our laws began to be enforced? I think it's time we be realistic. We are NOT going to deport 12 million people! But we can close the flood gates, can't we?

So here is the scoop....I am a 13 year old girl and ever since I could remember I have wanted to be in the military. A lot of people think I am just joking around with it.... But I have made up my mind and this is a definate plan for me in the future.
Now I have it narrowed down (most desired to less tastefull)
to The Air Force, Marines, or Navy...But I have heard from an Army Wife that I Know that a woman will not be put in the line of fire and that I would not be able to reach my goal (goal NOT dream) of being a combat pilot or sniper!!! So please someone with knowledge and non-byast views give my answer????

OK, I'm new here.
I'm an addict. Mostly meth/ice but if I can't get that ...dah dah dah.
I have a new CLEAN friend. I have HOPE now.
I am being discharged from rehab in 3 days cause I have warrants out for me. No violence or nothing, DUI, got caught with Xanax, disorderly conduct, no shows for court, bailed on my PO..
I am poor and don't have any insuranse. I don't want to rehab in jail. I want to get clean then go turn myself in. I KNOW if I have to go straight to jail I'll just use again when I get out.
I need HELP. Nobody will hear me cauz i am poor but I really am sober as I am riting this and want to get clean and help kids whos parents are addicts.
My friend says that since I'm in Ga. it could be hard cuz it's like the meth capital and the courts might wanna make an example out of me.
Thanks for listening anyhow.

What would be a good example of the governments lie radicating mistrust of the citizens of the U.S.

Citizens of the U.S would immediately distrust the U.S. government if, in fact, extraterrestrial information has been covered up. Citizens would be forced to question the decisions and statements the U.S. government would give regarding any subject in controversy. Not to imply that controversial issues today are not question, but the percentage of skeptical citizens would be much higher if such revelation would be reveled. For example,

The colonel was furious. "Can you believe it? They actually drew their weapons on U.S. soldiers." He was describing a 2006 car accident, in which an SUV full of Blackwater operatives had crashed into a U.S. Army Humvee on a street in Baghdad's Green Zone. The colonel, who was involved in a follow-up investigation and spoke on the condition he not be named, said the Blackwater guards disarmed the U.S. Army soldiers and made them lie on the ground at gunpoint until they could disentangle the SUV.

I mean, it's like she has had some coaching from Al Gore or something. Ask her about the gun issue and she dances right around the subject. She refuses to speak about it at all. I recall the suspense and dread when it was a still undecided issue. First Gore, then Bush, then Gore and a horrified thought, "Oh my God! There go my guns! $15,000 in modern and relic firearms all confiscated like in Australia and Great Britan!" Those poor people have had gun crimes multiply horribly because now only the criminals have the guns They can't even defend themselves with a sharp stick. See "Saving Private Ryan"? I have one of each gun. Nearing retirement I can look at my collection and think that in a financial emergency they are money in the bank. I can literally point to them one at a time and say, "Here's six month's rent. This one is three month's worth of groceries," and so on. Aside from the right to keep and bear arms, this is my property not something the government can simply confiscate.

People who use drugs need help, not thrown in prison. And why are tobacco and alcohol legal (they are drugs too) and kill tens of thousands of people, yet legally we consider the use of marijuana to be criminal. I am not advocating drug use, just pointing out maybe we should not worry so much about "the war on drugs" and consentrate on catching true criminals.

If you are a minor say 17, can your parents sign you up to join the military without your consent? Just basically sign some papers and off you go into the U.S. army? Any articles talking about this would be great too.

It's luxurious. It's beautiful. It was built during the time of the Iraqi Reconstruction, $572 million dollars worth of lush accommodations for the VIP's visiting Baghdad. Recently, however, a few mortar shells have damaged the building somewhat, but most of it is still intact. Isn't it great that the man who wants to whittle down Health Care for American Children could build the World's Biggest Embassy as a monument to his military accomplishments? How would you like to spend a relaxing weekend at this lavish establishment?

WASHINGTON — Blackwater USA tried to take at least two Iraqi military aircraft out of Iraq two years ago and refused to give the planes back when Iraqi officials sought to reclaim them, according to a congressional committee investigating the private security contractor.

Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, wants the company to provide all documents related to the attempted shipment and to explain where the aircraft are now.
