Not sure about that, like the other guy said it has to be quality. The CHinese eat about 85% of the items sold her but Dollar store empires are founded on "Made in China" concpt. Mor $ stores are shifting to products from Thailand.
Lots of my friends are opting to buy toys made in Germany as they are easy to ship here and often available locally in your area at local independent toy stores, train and hobby shops and comic stores.

hope this helps

regrettably it is not in simple terms 10-20% extra. it relatively is all approximately grant and insist, and equilibrium international fees. unfastened commerce is right for each individual. If this jobs going oversees factor replaced into in any respect genuine, then we does no longer have had an unemployment fee at or under the organic fee for the 1st 6 or so years of the Bush administration. the roles be replaced, and comparative earnings wins out. commerce is solid, no longer undesirable. do no longer hear to the misguided political opportunists.

The real question should be "how much more"? Five per cent more? Ten per cent more? Fifty per cent more? All things being equal, I'd prefer to pay a little more for an American made product.

Actually, after having had to toss a number of my son's toys, this Christmas anything made in China is banned. I know I'm not the only one who is doing that this year. USA products are fine, though I have already purchased a few toys from Germany (and already have done a lead swipe on them...).

Some companies do not deserve protectionism.
I.e. who have let our power grid rot down to 3rd
world standard hence put us at risk.
But mid-class manufacturers are a different story,
they have good ideas and could need some of the
82 billions welfare, which big corporates got in 2006.
