Most of the people that speak Spanish in the US are Native Americans who have had the Spanish and English forced on them by Europeans. A Hispanic is a person with descendents from Spain and a Latino is a person with descendents from the country where latin comes form - Italy.

The parts of the US that have Spanish named cities like Los Angeles in California, Santa Fe in New Mexico, San Antonio in Texas were Spanish Colonies. Other parts of the US were England's and French colonies.

If you want to speak the american language, well Amerigo Vespucci was a Spaniard that mapped out N and S America. To speak the original languages of these lands please take interest in the indegenous languages.

Ancient languages around the World are going extinct very quickly right now and are being replaced by the languages of the most powerful white people.

Because Spanish is the official language of Hispanic and Latino countries. America has her own. And it happens to be English.

So No! We Americans are not giving that up or turning our National language over to appease the sensitive Hispanic and Latino communities.

The Constitution is written in English not Spanish. This is not Mexico or Spain. We speak American English here. If you don't like it, leave. The dominate language is English.

Your demands mean nothing.

You can't be serious. If you are, then get a reality check. This is the USA. We speak ENGLISH. Our constitution was written in ENGLISH. Protest all you want, it will NEVER happen, ever. Go back to Mexico, or where ever it is you came from, and don't come back. And by the way....don't let me catch you in my beat, because, I promise you, you will be deported, and won't have a chance to cross the border a tenth time.

Because it is AMERICA and not SPAIN or MEXICO. Just because spanish or mexican people have come to live here doesnt mean we should change our language. A lot of people are bi-lingual now speaking english and spanish which is helpful but I dont think we should completely change our country.
