I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.

in truth, each and every race between the Coca Cola 600 and the overdue summer season race at Bristol. Pocono is relaxing to observe and Michigan's been noticeably unpredictable with its gas mileage endings, the line races continually deliver a clean replace of p.c.., all and multiple on the following is ideal about Daytona being a a lot anticipated adventure (rather with Jr. operating the #3), and New Hampshire and Chicagoland might want to be large races at the same time as there are different double-report restarts close to the top. i imagine the weakest race in this record IMO is Indianapolis, yet then that is Indy, between the most prestigious tracks contained in the international. Oh, and did I factor out Bristol and the 600?

From the way you talk. Who cares? Our generation can screw it up and we won't be around to worry about it anyway.
Live for today
By the way last term Bush was saying Global Warming was a Myth

In case you haven't noticed it isn't only dems who are saying this. President Bush has said the same thing. The Governor of my state who is Republican has said the same thing. Many republicans and lets not forget most respectable scientists who we should be listening to anyway not politicians have said the same thing. So the question is why are you so behind the times.

i do not recall those specific predictions 30 years ago but i wish they had. i really wish we had listened. just think how much better off we would be if 30 years ago we started to address these problems. if we were not dependent on middle eastern oil we would have no strategic interest in iraq and we would not be in that mess either. i wish 30 years ago you had done more to make us aware. the environment would be better off, the hunger throughout the world could have been prevented and well over 3000 fine young men and women in our armed services would still be alive. not to mention the iraq lives lost. i guess we should continue to ignore these problems they pose no threat to us.

30 years ago? Now we know you are full of BS. In the late 70s there was no oil shortage, food shortage, and no forecasts of an ice age. Maybe you listened to a little to much disco and it fried your memory.

Earth to Steve...many prominent Republicans, including President Bush, have publicly acknowledged that climate change is a problem.

Oh yeah...global cooling! Gotta love the 70s.
For those of you who weren't alive in the global cooling days, here's a look at a 1975 Newsweek article detailing it: http://www.denisdutton.com/cooling_world.htm

They said that??? I don't remember anything close to that. C'mon.
I'm just talking less dependence on oil-you have seen the price of oil? Cleaner air, cleaner water. Maybe you're against those, I know we should be protecting corporate profits.

Global warming isn't the issue, it's happening. Man made, NO! Natural occurrence, proven scientifically.
Al Gore is a liar.
