can he?

Although it wasn't meant to be an act of charity -- it was a pathetic attempt at spite by Limbaugh -- Sen. Reid nonetheless was a big enough person and felt it was appropriate to praise the end result which was a donation to charity.

Limbaugh also matched the 2 million bucks the letter went for. He challenged Reid to do the same. Will Harry put his money where his mouth is?

Let me first say that I'm not a big Rush fan. But, you have to give him credit for knowing how to play a sucker. Reid's stupid comment just shows what a political hack he is. "Oh, I'm so glad that this turned out to be a benefit for a bunch of people in need". Rush will turn this pathetic attempt of Reid's trying to salvage his dignity into another personal coup. Believe me, Rush will be very satisfied. I don't know if he actually challenged Harry to match the contribution, but he will. And Reid will be even more embarrassed, because he won't.
And don't forget all the collateral damage to the forty others who signed the letter. I'm sure Harry's their hero now.
Just to clarify, I'd consider myself more a liberal then a conservative. I am a Democrat. And when it comes to events like this, it just shows how much better Republicans are at the game then the Dems. It also helps explain how Kerry lost to Bush and why nobody should be anointing Hillary just yet.

Oh, please. I heard the entire tape of Reid's pathetic attempt to insinuate himself into this fund-raiser. He had the gall to imply that he collaborated with Limbaugh to raise this money!! This was just an obvious attempt on Reid's part to save face, because his overt abuse of Congressional power had come back to bite him in his scrawny butt. If you are actually buying into Reid's B/S, I have a pretty bridge in San Francisco for sale...I'm selling it to raise money for starving children in upper Manhattan..so everything goes to a worthy cause...LOL...You Libs will swallow anything!!

Typical conservative scumbag. Rush wants Reid to donate a matching contribution to score political points, but people should realize that Rush earns over $20million per year and Harry gets a Senate salary of ( who knows& who cares) we all know it's alot less then that FAT FvCK!!!

Rush Limbaugh can't get any satisfaction, because he is too famous to hook up with little boys without getting caught.

If he was normal, he wouldn't be so angry that he has to get a little feeling of gratification by ranting and raving on the radio like a lunatic.

Reid's annual salary as of 2006 = $183,000/yr how long would it take him to make 2 million?
Rush Limbaugh= $285 million 8 year contract through 2009

maybe rush should donate their shares if he is that concerned.

So basically Rush says...hmmm he'll donate 1 month's salary, and congress, should donate 10 years worth.
uhhh ...ooook

and use the hillary two step to dodge the real issue of having a smear campaign backfire.
dont you liberals ever quit...wow.

Reid's "congratulations" was akin to the sheepish grin of a five year old who is caught red handed with his hand in the cookie jar - what other alternative did he have?

Rush Limbaugh is fat and pathetic, dishes out trash, can't take it. Guess that's something to be expected from a yellow bellied coward who cheated with a fake condition to get out serving in the military.
