I don't know if I'd trust a liberal to hold the cheese, because it might disappear.

The older type that has his whole identity based on power/being macho/ego? They particuarly have a hard time working with a young woman being in charge. Having a meeting, going through procedures etc. are extremly difficult and frustrating because they feel that they have to show some sort of power by disputing, giving invaluable feedback and throw everything off only because they need to feel that they matter and have something better to say. A meeting that shouldn't take more than 45-mins has to be extended to 2 hours for no good reason. They are also problomatic when dealing with other male employees who do not come from the same "military-run" culture. I'm more concerned about how to deal with them as a woman? Do you give them the floor and make them feel "manly" and in charge so that they can feel sufficient? Do you put them in place and remind them that they are not running the show? Do you just strategically exclude them from meetings etc? HELP

I entered a lease with an apartment, and I can maybe-just-barely fulfill the contract, which would eat up the rest of my savings. I want out. Does being unemployed affect my terms of lease in South Carolina?

Michael Mukasey has been put forward by Bush for the job of Attorney General of the US. When asked if he thought that waterboarding (simulated drowning), forced nudity, and mock excecutions of suspected terrorists was , in his opinion, Torture, he replied that he could not say if it was torture, as he hid not have any information on the matter!!!

Do you Americans want a man who can't decide on when simulated drowning, forced nudity and mock executions of a person held in captivity for up to 4 years without trial, is torture or not. Just being held in captivity for severalyears without trial is torture enough.

Come on Mukasey, common sense is all anyone needs to be able to comment on this..

On the front page of yahoo right now is this headline created by the commie yahoo content editors: "White House defends Mukasey silence on torture."

This leads to this story:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071019/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush_attorney_general
With THIS headline:
White House defends Mukasey

The commies at yahoo CHOSE to add "silence on torture."

The story itself talks about whether certain things should be classified as torture or not; debatable stuff.

The commies at yahoo DECIDED ON THEIR OWN what torture consists of and placed their little addition in the headline in order to create the impression that the White house defends torture.

Get it?

Last June, I was coerced into purchasing a Kirby vacuum cleaner. I did not care for the high-pressure sales tactics. I repeatedly said "NO" as I found the unit too heavy and cumbersome as well as having complicated attachments and it was expensive. The salesman would just stare me down, then cry that he needed to sell "just one more vacuum" so he could win a trip to see his dying grandfather in Italy. He finally he grabbed my hand, put a pen in it and held my hand to the contract until I signed it. Then he picked up my old vacuum and started to walk out. When I questioned this action, he said that trading-in the old vacuum was part of the"deal."

I have found that the Kirby doesn't really clean that well, not even as good as my old one and my shoulder aches after I use it. I contacted the Attorney General, but was informed that although Kirby's sales practices are unethical, they aren't illegal, so I have no recourse as I signed a contract. Kirby has a three-day return policy.

Are the weak, powerless, impotent faces of Pelosi and Reid the faces we want to show the Jihaddist demons? They look at our congress and laugh their stoneaged beards off.

Only Bush has put up a strong, manly visage in order to show those demons that we mean business.

Did you know we are the only country left, other that the middle eastern countries that allow there citizens to have guns? Do you think that Americans should lose there right to have guns? Do you think that anyone who was convicted of a felony should lose there right to have a gun? Would you give up your guns and weapons if the troops knocked on the door to take them away?

So many of you have decided that the government is failing to provide for the millions of suffering Americans, my question is, are you helping your fellow neighbor in their time of suffering? Or are you just sitting on Y/A 23 hours a day hoping someone else will do it for you?

It is 9:44am here on the West Coast. Rush is auctioning the nasty letter thatr Harry Reid authored to Rush. It is on eBay, and is up to over $2million. But, Dingy Harry got on the floor of the senate, trying to make it sound like that was his intention all along. IT WAS NOT! He was simply being nasty (no surprise). It backfired, but he is trying to do damage control.

Rush agreed to MATCH what it brings, and offered Reid, and all others who signed the letter to match it. Harry has NOT agreed to match any part, but says he agrees with Rush on this.

If Harry agrees, he will match it. If not, well, you know- more lies.

I think so. I think anyone who is not a diehard Republican can see that it is better to spend billions helping Amerixcans to live better lives than it is to spend a trillion dollars helping Iraqis. Call it socialist or whatever you want, but people are tired of billions going to Saudis, Iraqis, and Israelis while Americans suffer at home
