Should we give visa's for Iraqis who help the US in Iraq?

Why do we liberals condemn Gen.Pace for his views against gays? Why do gays get the last word here?

Why don't we get all up in arms at gays for being immoral and saying their lifestyle is okay?

ROTC Scholarships?

I need to know if getting a Army ROTC or a Airforce ROTC scholorship worth the trouble. I'm trying my best to get one of them but my Army recruiter say's it is tough. I want to be an officer so that i can fly a helicopter. I really don't want to be a enlistee. Iam a senior at my school and i think it is too late to get a ROTC scholorship.

do you have to be a US citizen to apply for disability benefits from the social security administration?

i visited the social security administration with my parents ( they are disable) to get medical benefits and other benefits as well. When we were almost done with our appointment i was told they needed to wait 7 years intill they become citizens. they are only residents.so basicly do they have to citizens or just residents to get disability benefits ??? and just to be sure ...do they have to wait 7 years???

Since the War is so important why shouldn't we nationalise the Oil Corps to pay for it?

It's gonna have to happen sooner or later, we can't afford to spend $190 Billion forever - every time someone opens their mouth.

My fiance just left for boot camp and I have a couple of questions....help?

Well, he just left yesterday and was supposed to arrive in Illinois in the evening. When he arrives, he's required to call someone and let them know he arrived safely. But no one has received a call from him. He told me he'd call me and I would notify his parents. Do I have reason to worry?
And another question: Assuming everything is alright, am I allowed to send anything other than letters while he's at boot camp (i.e. pictures, care packages, etc.) Thanks.

MoveOn.org -- Petraeus Ad?

By a 341-79 vote, the House passed a resolution praising the patriotism Gen. David Petraeus, the commander of U.S. forces in Iraq, and condemning a MoveOn.org ad that referred to Petraeus as "General Betray Us."

The liberal group's full-page ad appeared earlier this month in The New York Times and has served as a rallying point for Republicans. President Bush called the ad "disgusting" and criticized Democrats such as Sen. Hillary Clinton, the front-runner for the party's nomination, for being afraid of irritating the group.

Is there any way possible advocates of MoveOn.org and the ACLU could just disappear?

In a blinding majority, the House blasted MoveOn.org for the attack on Gen. Petraeus. Obviously it would be hard for Liberals to say the Republicans are trying to censure what MoveOn.org said.

Affirmative points to Fairness Doctrine (PFD)???

I'm trying to formulate some points and all of my research is just going in one ear and out the other! So far I have "The media is biased due to media conglomeration"

and I want to say Radio has an obligation to operate in the public interest. and that the F.D. doesn't violate the first amendmetns but I don't think I'll have much support on the first one and as for the first amendment...well I think thats more of a defense and i'm first speaker.

I have been falsely charged with battery on a household member.?

What are my options. I live in N.M.
She attacked me when I was locked in my bedroom trying to avoid her, she had returned to retrive some of her belongings that I had placed outside of my house. She broke into my house, then into my room and starting hitting me. I reminded her that I had a video tape recording what she was doing. She then ripped the camera out, I tried to get it back from her, we fell to the ground, her friend came in and saw us on the ground, I let her up she went outside with the camera, I told her friend to get my camera back and that the tape was still in my possession. They called the police had me arrested, and while I was in jail they broke into my house again and stole the video tape evidence. along with 400 cash, other cameras and a lot of other mis. items. I have an attorney who says I have a good defense, but if anyone knows of some leagal or other advise, please help me out here. She has a history of doing this to others. Any help will be appreicated.

New BMW Without Plates or Papers on Front Windshield.?

There is this new BMW purchased about 11 weeks ago with no license plates front or back, and no papers in the front windshield. How can this person get away with driving a car like this without papers of some sort. Is 11 weeks without plates long?
