we've put troops on the borders, what does everyone else think. will we be warring with iran next? i mean literally.

I agree , a difficult question. We have a lot of stuff going on. The UK might not want us occupying another country. Also, it might upset of middle eastern countries, not to mention 'drive' gas prices up. However, we are on a delicate line with Iran. Iranians might have caused more US soldiers deaths in this wars then the Iraqis. They also clearly hate the us, burning the American flag and celebrating in the streets when they found out about 9/11. It all depends on how Iran acts in the next year and a half- when a new president is elected into office.

wow, this question is full of possibilities, Russia and China both have assetts in Iran and will not want them disturbed, at all, just because the US has cut off trade with Iran doesnt mean the rest of the world has, and that would be a fruitless war anyway, we used to be international partners and businesses flourished between our countries and trade was good, the Iranian president knows exactly where our troops are at, and he came here for a visit and we attacked him and called him names on television, great job USA on that one, now he has all the ammo he needs if he wants to start one with US, he has Backing, like I said, Russia and China will back him, they have too, or they can turn on him and take what they want too, but we cant do that anymore hence the whole Holocaust issue, He knows he is not strategically well placed and that he needs help if it came to war,

We will be doing sanctions as the president said. Followed by a possible blockade.
We have them surrounded and their people hate the leaders.
Hopefully we won't need to put troops into Iran. The people will topple the govt. for us.
If they get Nuclear weapons and the people of Iran cannot stop them we might not have a choice.

Its a definate possiblity, considering that they're experimenting with nuclear weapons and with Iraq being flushed out they're going to be a hot spot for hostile fundamentalist Islamics it would be silly not to be prepared.
to answer directly because I hate vague answers and wishy washy opinions..Yes, yes I do and I think when we do it will be neccessary.
