When Congress is passing resolutions telling us they hate the 1st amendment, they need to tell us where moveon.org is lying.
BTW, it's basically a pack of lies spewed out telling us how Petraeus got his medal of Valor. Doubtful that anyone other a General would had got a Bronze Star as Petraeus was far from being in imminent danger from enemy fire.

Moveon didn't. Now was the first time I actually saw the entire ad. Thanks to you.

Everything in that ad was true. Its a shame that the house voted to censure Moveon.

I think you are missing the point.

It can be said Colin Powel lied to the UN because he knowingly told them things that he has serious questions about.

The military in this country has an obligation to follow its leaders. They don't usually have a go it alone attitude. That is what General Douglas McArthur got fired for in the early 50's by Truman.

The Add should not have attacked the General, it should have attacked the leadership that put him up to it.

Signed, an ex vet who is also a liberal and against both wars.

People in the military are not covered under the 1st amendment.

He lied when he said the white house had no knowledge of the speech. It was written by the same speech writers as the white house. Are you going to tell me they had no knowledge of what to put in his speech. And why was it so closely worded to president Bush's speech? The real kicker is it is the same speech he gave in 2004. So in 3 years nothing basically changed in Iraq?? Great use of our tax dollars.

They brought this ad out before the report was given. Wouldn't it have been fair to at least listen to what the man had to say before smearing his reputation?

That little word "or" makes it a matter of opinion, to which everyone has a right.
