The merits of converting to Muslim are you can have 4 wives and countless concubines, divorcing them for the least displeasure is easy as saying 123, Promiscuosity carries the death sentence by stoning. No more conflicts with Bin Laden and his kind. Demerits are you have to read the Koran, face the east and pray most of the time and you may be required to wear a vest with explosives sometimes. I am sure the Muslim religion will appeal to all the rednecks who really don't have religious beliefs anyway. So its Obama for me, Obama, obama obama.

Here's how it works. For every $1.00 the employer pays you, they have to pay the government about 24 cents: FICA, Medicare, FUTA, SUTA, Worker's comp. That's 24 cents the employer is paying for your labor that you don't see. The government gets it.

Now, for every dollar you receive, the employer withholds by law about 24 cents to cover your income tax and your portion of FICA and Medicare. Thus, for every $1.24 worth of labor you provide, you net only about 76 cents. The government takes 48 cents. You end up receiving only 61% of the value of your labor income. The government gets 39%!

And that's today. Imagine what it's going to become if Hillary or Obama get elected and pass their socialized healthcare! Hillary said she will *force* every one to buy it. So, even if you are young and healthy, you won't be able to avoid paying her fee for insurance. You're going to see your 61 cents take on your $1.24 worth of labor drop down to, I'd bet, under 50 cents.

Bill Clinton had been a serial adulterer for their entire marriage, as everybody with half a brain knows.

In 1988, he called me and said that he and Hillary were considering divorce and he had to get away from her for a while. I offered him my house in Key West, Fla.

Right before the 60 Minutes show during the 1992 campaign, he called for my advice and I suggested that he admit and apologize for the adultery with Flowers and he said "If I did that, I'd have to find a new place to live."

In 1995, reviewing his testimony in the fraud trial of Susan McDougal, he asked me how he should handle his "relationship" with her. I said: "If you had sex with her, admit it. Don't perjure yourself. We can always undo the political damage, but we can't undo the legal damage." He nodded.

For Hillary to pretend injured innocence at this point has only one motive: She needs to somehow justify her strident public defense of her husband.

She can't admit the truth: that she defended him because she didn't want him forced from office — ending both their political careers — because he'd been unfaithful to her.

Hillary, give us a break.

— Dick Morris, an adviser to Bill Clinton for 20 years

No offense but, many American's are just dumb and not open-minded people so gullable toward politics.

All the polticians ever want is to get re-elected and rack up millions of dollars toward ear-marks.
They say they were going to end Iraq War, it didn't happen.

It's always me, me, me, me, vote for me.

Your thoughts?

“MoveOn.org is the most powerful left-wing group in the country,” the ad, which is running statewide, intones. “They spent millions electing anti-war liberals. And publicly brag how the Democratic Party is theirs — bought and paid for. Why is MoveOn attacking Rudy Giuliani? Because he’s their worst nightmare.”

This is an idea I've toyed with from time to time. It sounds extremely conservative, even though I'm liberal on most issues.
I think our present prison system suffers from a basic flaws. We tell inmates they have a debt to society, and then release them after they've done their time.
To me, it would seem an inmate is someone that has shown incapable of living withing society's norms. I would therefore like to see the system changed so that the criminal bears the reponsibility of demonstrating his ability to reintegrate society.

So I would like to see introduced a series of measures making the offender responsible for his/her rehabilitation. For example, drug testing would be mandatory. Any inmate unable to remain "clean" while on the inside for at least a year would be denied freedom until that condition is met. Any inmate engaging in violence, would see his/her sentence prolonged as a result, until we are satisfied the person does not pose a risk of engaging in such behavior.

I don't like Mrs. Clinton and personally would prefer another woman having the honor of being the first woman President of the USA. Certainly I'm not voting for her. I noticed that she refuses to criticize anyone that supports her unlike the Republican candidates who openly discuss the issues and will criticize even those who support them. My husband just joined the Army and after his training and hopefully he and I will have a life of bliss to bond together as ONE!! with our beautiful boy that was conceived with his seed and he will be introduced to early next year after he graduates from Infantry training school.

I fear though that my time with him will be limited and he will be sent to defend his country. I don't appreciate a left wing news organization trashing a good man like General Petreaus who might be the man to lead my husband and see that he returns to me and our son safe and sound.

I think Mrs Clinton will make the worse President that the US has ever had!!

I frequently hear the argument that marriage is only meant to be between a man and a woman because they are capable of bearing children together and therefore are a legitamate couple.
But my question is this.... what about heterosexual couples that are unable to concieve? Should they have their ability to marry revoked?
My Aunt and Uncle have been married for 12 years and are both physically incapable of getting pregnant together (or seperately for that matter). My other Aunt is the same way, she is physically not capable of getting pregnant, should she and her future husband be denied the right to marry? What if a woman has her uterus removed, should she be denied a right to marry since she and he husband can not concieve children?

I know the Catholics teach that sex is strictly for procreational purposes, so is a couple that is not physically able to have children denied the right to marry in the Catholic church?
