You ask this,as if to imply that this was Bush' idea... Try taking a look at the Iraq Liberation Act, which CONGRESS passed 360-38 under BILL CLINTON.

You can't put that on Bush. If you remember, the last 4 presidential elections have been extremely close. No candidate has won with more than 50% of the vote. (I think the actual numbers is more like 42-45% but I'm not sure. Even Pres. Clinton's election numbers were in the mid 40's%)
The division has been happening for a long time.

This country was divided against itself before the 2nd Iraq war and will be divided against itself long after it. Liberals hate the Conservatives (and vice versa), racialy bigotry, sex discrimination, Christians vs Atheists vs Muslims vs whoever ... pick your topic. This war is just another thing to add fuel to an already incredible bonfire. Until people learn to start judging and accepting others as individuals and not a group of ???, nothing will change. Acceptance of differences is the key, and if you can't accept something ... you can politely tolerate it and talk about it.

The division has been around as long as there has been a two party system This is not a Bush problem There was a divided nation when Clinton was President, Reagan, Carter Ford, Nixon and etc...The leader did not divide the nation It's the people and their beliefs

All democratic/republican systems will necessarily be divided against themselves, in the sense that all governments containing more than one party will have disagreements that are not entirely resolved.

I don't think the libs believe that. They have made a point of dividing us. Just for their own political gain. They could care less about America.

Ever tried disagreeing with a liberal?

Their idea of unity is everyone believing what they tell them to think and if you disagree they call names and gang up on you and try to brow beat you into submission.
