My boyfriend is graduating from the Air Force Basic Training from Lacklen, Texas in November. I was wondering if anybody could give me any advice on what I should wear...

You can wear shorts and a t-shirt or a nice dress... Just remember to take a jacket... When my Hubby Graduated from there last year it was hot the first day and freezing the next... You don't have to get all dressed up unless you want to... Most people just wore comfy casual clothes....

Wear like a Sunday Casual to the actual graduation, and for off base liberty you can always change. I don't know where you from but it's always hot in TX so consider that when choosing your outfit.

Either a nice skirt and top, slacks and a top...nothing too dressy, but nothing overly casual either. No jeans, no flip flops, no strapless sundresses (although you can always wear a cute jacket/shrug.sweater over it). Before you wear heels you might want to see if you'll be walking across an open field...avoid the problems of sinking!

Wear what ever makes you comforatable. You will be sitting in the bleachers watching him march. You may not see him, he probably will not see you. Look at the local weather. It'll be November so I'd bring a jacket or umbrella. Also bring a camera, you'll want pictures.

He'll be in his dress blues and I'd think you would want pictures of the occasion, so dress so that he can show you off to his buds and get some good pictures. It'll be worth the effort, I'm sure. Tell him congratulations from an old AF vet.

Please when I graduated basic everyone was in like jeans and shirts. I should warn you though, i graduated this time of year too, so dress warmly. It gets really cold. Most people dont know that because its Texas!

a dress. If I were going, I would wear a suit. He'll be wearing his class A dress uniform.
