Minuteman formerly brought up ideas of citizen soldiers defending the country against the Redcoats...nowadays...it means a group of guys with cajones enough to spot illegals sneaking in with or without drugs or illegal contraband.
They risk their lives so we can sleep better at night. God Bless the Minutemen!

it means what it originally meant.
the soldiers that fought in the revolutionary war against England.
that new bullsh*t isn't what they really were. Minutemen died off about a hundred to a hundred and fifty years ago. so technically there are none of them left.

those border patrol people are just that... Border patrol. But what their forgetting is that their parents were immigrants too...

I don't condone illegal immigration at all, but shooting people???

i don't know... i'm honestly split on the immigration issue, the illegals definately need to go. if my family (italians) had to immigrate legally, then so does everyone else, i'm sorry.
but early 1900's immigrants were treated just as bad, if not worse than today's [illegal] immigrants.

It means a retired nuclear rocket, or someone who was ready in a minute to defend the country from illegal governments.

So today it means nothing. No one is going to risk their freedom to overthrow a corrupt government. Not until they can get their hands on one of those old nukes.

Then its a whole new ball game.

"minutemen" to me are the heros who fought off the british during the revolutionary war. the minutemen you're refering to are good hearted, well intentioned people, but the goal is simply not as noble, dangerous, or heroic.
