Having heard the story about Nebraska State Senator Ernie Chambers and his lawsuit against God this morning, I have to applaud him and his reasoning for this lawsuit. There ARE way too many frivolous lawsuits in this country. Take for example, the woman who sued a fast food chain because she was stupid and placed a cup of hot coffee between her legs and burned herself. Shame on the judge who heard this case! Also, people suing cigarette companies. Hello! The dangers of smoking have been common knowledge for well over 25 years, so anyone who picks up the dirty habit nowadays, has absolutley no excuse.
Can anyone else think of other frivolous lawsuits?

2 yrs ago I brought one when me and my ex split up.. not because of him.. he never gave me a reason to fear him.. it is still in the box.. i got to thinking it may be as dangerous as a gun.. it is a thunder pro 120.. with a 120,000 volts... is it deadly .. i believe if it were used on someone with ill health that it could be deadly.. but if some one broke in the house would that be consider defending your self.. and if i took it outside the house is it considered a crime.. a consealed weapon of sorts..or would pepper spray be better when you leave the house.. what could a person be charge with if they had to use on of those things.. again i never took it out of the box execpt to but battiers in it.. and after 2 yrs the battiers still work

A guy rear ended me yesterday. A car stopped in front of me. I stopped. He didn't see my brake lights. Its as simple as that. The problem is that since I use to go to high school with the guy that hit me the cop that arrived on the scene seems to think that we where following eachother to school- even though I have already graduated. He said something about their not being much traffic out. The guy said it was his fault to the cop repeatidly, and it was, but I just worry that they might try to charge us for something when it was a simple traffic accident and he sized us up all wrong. The accident report hasn't came out yet.

Insurgents seem to be better liked by the Iraqi government, since they do whatever they want and the Iraqi government does little to nothing to stop them. They are responsible for thousands of civilian and military deaths.

Blackwater is attacked by said insurgents, and since they defended themselves, the Iraqi government, the same government that , in all appearances, looks the other way when insurgents do bad things, wants to ban them from iraq / send them to jail.

Does anyone else see a grave injustice being done here?

I've often wondered this. You can't even get a cigar from Cuba into US legally, but it's OK for the govt to lease a block of land. Or have I got my geography and politics all wrong?

Question: Hiliary Clinton says she will install mandatory health insurance?

Question Details: What do you think about that? I find it scary in a way. The article said that it would be mandatory for everyone to buy health insurance. There would be many kinds to choose from with tax help also. I still wonder how this can be accomplished. Can you imagine being forced to pay for health insurance and then not being able to meet the rent, car expenses, food, etc. Some people live day-to-day, check-to-check without any money for anything else. Unless the tax help would be enough to pay for the premiums?? Oh pardon me for spelling Hillary wrong. That really warranted a ...

My husband signed a new contract one week before becoming sick for 5 weeks. he is now back at work and has found out that funding for the project he is working on is ending in a month and he has to look for a new job. However his contract of employment continues until april 08. With the money running out do they have to find him a new job until the contract ends or can they just give him a months notice and end the work (note it has nothing to do with him being ill as the other three project workers are in the same situaton)

Nationalized healthcare is a horrible idea! Look at canada...sure everyone will have healthcare...but people will have to wait to get any care from a doctor.

I would say that I would love for nationalized healthcare to get instated just to show the world how dumb the democrats in power are...but once we have nationalized healthcare, we will never go back to a normal working healthcare system.

Will someone explain to me why Hillary is bent on nationalized healthcare?

to train even more private Gestapo which is completely above any government control and answers to no one other than Bush and Chaney.

1) Is Bush bringing them out of Iraq so they will be ready to attack American citizens after the banks collapse?

or

2) Has Iraq just gotten too dangerous for Bush's private gestapo so he's protecting them while leaving our Army to die?
