The Nazi Holocaust against minority groups in Europe in the early 20th Century happened.
There is no debate on the facts and only those with some need for denial, for example combat88, the BNP and the KKK, ever suggest otherwise. It's hard to believe that even today some Europeans are prepared to hear alternative realities from these far right ignorants.
The term Holocaust is derived from the Greek 'Holo' meaning complete [we get our modern word 'whole' as a result of this] and 'caustus' meaning destroy by fire etc. [we get caustic, as in Caustic Soda, from this word].
Holocaust= total destruction by fire [or similar means] now used to describe a human atrocity which results in hundreds of thousands of fatalities.
To that end it is also true that the Allied forces were responsible for a holocaust in Japan through their use of 'H' bombs which brought about the end of WWII in the Pacific region. To name just one other holocaust...

Who could or would for that matter make up something so horrendous as the Holocaust? I believe it is true, it just goes to show how far man will go in his thirst for power.

It is very true. Study Adolph Eichmann, he had more to do with the Holocaust than any other German.

It's all too true but Monk correctly points out, it wasn't just Jews who were persecuted and killed. Many others including gypsys, the mentally and physically handicapped and others suffered under a twisted regime.

It's true. Like they say, at the Nuremburg trials many different defenses were used by the Nazis, but none ever claimed that it never happened.

It is the truth...go and talk to someone who has been through it..I can't believe someone does not believe it happened.Do you not see documentaries or read books..the proof is all there.....this makes me really angry..all the horrible tortures killings and suffering and people like you still have doubts...
