I would like to enlist as a combat medic. Then once I get to my permanent duty station start school.A lot people say its very hard to be full time college while in the military, because of training, plus working your Mos especially being active duty.Plus does the GI Bill, college fund, is that the same thing as the 100 percent tuition while in the miltary. If you wait and you used the Gi bILL when you end your service, can you still attend school while you in the army?Any advice is appreciated Thank you live life love life.

I definitely don't like all of the Democratic Candidate's proposals for fixing the problem, but Healthcare definitely is an issue, with people dying because they switch companies after having a pre-existing/uninsurable condition, or after loosing jobs our corporations take to Mexico and India, why do no Republican candidates have any Healthcare Plan on the platforms? Do they think we're too dumb to notice? I might not expect much from someone like Mitt Romney who took his profits to other countries so he could avoid the taxes the rest of us pay, but Giuliani? Paul? I expect something.

my friend was recently caught shoplifting and has been given dates to be fingerprinted and to see the judge. this is her first offence and it seems like she will be offered the diversion program.

she's thinking of making a short day trip to the US. but all the terminologies seem so intertwined and vague at times. so here are a few questions:

- is it considered an "arrest" in her case?
- has she been "charged"? (without fingerprinting and court yet)
- does this mean she has a criminal record?
- what would show up on her records right now?
- what implications are tied to a "pending" charge/record?
- a conviction is when you are found guilty?
- should she cross the border?
- if asked at the border "have you been convicted/charged/arrested?"...what should she say?

she's been asking around, but lawyers are sounding kinda sketchy and vague. i guess they either don't know a lot about immigration/customs issues or they just want my friend to hire them.

many thanks.

er, then EDUCATE yourself on the issues and the candidates?
Getting information of where the candidates stand should NOT take 12 months.
Is there any responsibility that goes along with the right to vote?
Personal opinions, please. I am NOT suggesting any type of test to judge a voter's compentency, but some people here are at least interested in the issues and people making those decisions.
Your thoughts, please.
Thank You!

Which if worse? Larry Craig, while a senator, voted against gays rights, attended anti-gay rallies, all while being gay, and expecting the gay community to protect him secret. He also spoke out AGAINST the ACLU. But when the sh!t hit the fan, the ACLU is now his best buddy, and is defending him. Which act was more hypocritical?

As one with a history of American policy of misuse and slavery, am I not allowed to see things as they really are.....

That America will use anybody, anything and anywhere to further its appetite for greed.

My History up to 40 years ago tell me this, The black soldiers in Vietnam used and abused by a country that refused them civil rights tell me this..... and today we see all the slums and ghettos in the cities.... can you argue it is a sin to point these out.?

"We should not march into Baghdad ... To occupy Iraq would instantly shatter our coalition, turning the whole Arab world against us, and make a broken tyrant into a latter-day Arab hero ... condemning them [our soldiers] to fight in what would be an unwinnable urban guerrilla war. It could only plunge that part of the world into even greater instability."

-- George H. W. Bush, 41st U. S. President from "A World Transformed," 1998

I sure wish he had. Don't you?

I can't beleive what Bush has done. I have so much pain for the loss of my brother in Iraq. Many of you know how much pain I live with. My brother died in vain and now I have to see what bush is doing to protect himself.

No president has ever pulled the stunts Bush has commited against America. But this is beyond politics. This is taking power away from all of the people of our contry.

Either Bush is completely paranoid, or he has done things that are so illegal and he knows this. I beleive both are true. However this is beyond what any president has ever attempted to do.

If the war in Iraq is not bad enough, and the loss of my brotherss life is not bad enough. then this is. What Bush is pulling here is un constituional and as a former republican I urge you al to open your eyes and minds and see what Bush is doing to us and that means the republicans. Look what bush is doing. He used al of us, he lied to us. I like so many more republicans see finally how bad things are.

“Our forces are killing lots of al-Qa’ida jihadis, preventing another terrorist attack on U.S. soil, and giving democracy in Iraq a chance—and Democrats say we are ‘losing’ this war. Was that a direct quote from Senate Leader Harry Reid, or the Osama bin Laden tape released this week? I always get those two confused... If liberals are not traitors, their only fallback argument at this point is that they’re really stupid.” —Ann Coulter

I'm not here to argue wither O.J. is innocent or guilty - mute point, also, mute point on the civil case too. But when are you respecting the lost of a loved one or when do you cross the line and are using the lost of a loved one to benefit yourself? At this point the Goldman's hounding O.J. is crossing the line (of course this is my opinion and yes, I have experience in a violent crime happening to my family and I and changing our lives forever - so, the Goldmans are not alone in that department)

Of course this is my opinion - and I have found that forgiveness and moving forward with my life is the greatest respect I can pay to my loved ones...that me brewing over it and constantly hashing it up - does not do anyone good, nor would hounding the individual who committed the crime do anything.

But besides that - the whole book deal and the public statements about O.J.s current status is sounding a little weasely...like its all been about them and what they can gain from it.
