I'm not here to argue wither O.J. is innocent or guilty - mute point, also, mute point on the civil case too. But when are you respecting the lost of a loved one or when do you cross the line and are using the lost of a loved one to benefit yourself? At this point the Goldman's hounding O.J. is crossing the line (of course this is my opinion and yes, I have experience in a violent crime happening to my family and I and changing our lives forever - so, the Goldmans are not alone in that department)

Of course this is my opinion - and I have found that forgiveness and moving forward with my life is the greatest respect I can pay to my loved ones...that me brewing over it and constantly hashing it up - does not do anyone good, nor would hounding the individual who committed the crime do anything.

But besides that - the whole book deal and the public statements about O.J.s current status is sounding a little weasely...like its all been about them and what they can gain from it.

I am with the Goldmans. Murder my son, get off and then gloat about it (which is how it would seem to me if I was Fred Goldman) and I would be ticked too. They have a judgment against him because they want him to be punished by having no money. When he breaks into that room and yells "You got my stuff" what is he talking about, he isn't suppose to have any "stuff" (memoriabilia).
I would be happy as could be if I was Fred Goldman and hoping the man gets lots of prison time since I would see that he got off for killing my son.
I agree with you about forgiveness but you kill my son (if I had one) and forgiveness from me would be pretty hard to come by.
OJ seems like an arrogant sociopathic jerk and it is hard not to gloat about it.

are you kidding me?
the goldmans are doing exactly what they should be doing. you say that they should should respect a loss of a loved one? they are doing just that. oj walked. the man killed their family member. how can one possibly get closure from that, i'll tell you how to make him as miserable as possible. what they are doing to oj constantly getting in his face making his life, a life of hell.he's not there yet so they are making life on earth a living hell for him.

it's not about gain off his book (that i cant believe that he wrote to make money off of the person he murdered), dispicable. they just want half of his money off the book that he has every right to write. remember he wasnt convicted so he get's to write that book, bad taste or not. i'm sure if they could take all that money they wouild. they feel that if they cant stop him from writing the book then do what they can do not allow him to get rich off of it.

you say theres such a thing as crossing the line? your absolutely right. i know that statement was towards the goldmans. but, i am my self putting that toward's oj. he crossed the line when he murdered his wife and that other guy. he's a MURDERER and your worried about the victim's crossing the line? by hounding him? did you read your statement here before you posted it?

if someone killed one of my baby's and he got off scotch free. he used my childs death to get rich off of by writing a book, there is no way in hell would i allow oj to have one solitary day in his life go by with out me causing him to one hell of a day. he might not be in jail but, he will most definetly wish that he was in jail or dead!

how can one move on if every time you turn around your hearing about oj's wonderful accomplishments. their family member' dead in the grave and he's throwing a party making money off her death by his hands.

the mans evil.

now he's in more trouble? robbery, gun's. the guy is no good. cant you see that. or are you so numb from all the horrible things that happen in this world.

i think going against the goldmans is insensitive and wrong

I have to assume that you, as a good person, would not try to attain the settlement you were awarded. OJ has done everything he can to avoid paying a debt.

I always thought they were TOTAL weasels!!! No decent, grieving person would act like that. Same for Nicole's family. OJ's children actually lived with him. If anything, money from their mother's death should go to them.

I feel terrible for their loss, but they will never be able to move on if they don't leave him alone, then again, I think they are in it for the MONEY and FAME
