After they awarded it to Arafat.. it essentially became a joke anyway.

He may not have understood economics, but I have always liked Jimmy Carter. No man aged as hard as he did while in office. When you see what he looked like when he took office and contrast it to when he left office, it's shocking. Yaser was the false hope to his people, but neighbors to Jews can be tough. But I sincerely believe Carter was and is a good man.

The credibility of this award was destroyed when Rush Limbaugh was nominated for the award. It will never again be seen as a serious award.
