It can't be. The prosecution gets only one bite of the apple. There is no appeal.
ADDED FOR CLARITY:
The prosecution can file separate actions to set aside the jury verdict due to certain conditions, however, such motion must be filed before the judge hearing the case.
Also, the U.S. Government could have prosecuted on the federal level (different issues) on denial of civil rights but they chose not to.
These are very specific circumstances and rarely used however.

You can't be tried for the same thing twice- that's known as double jeapordy. What I found so strange about the whole thing is that the Goldman's/Brown's were able to get a settlement in civil court which holds him responsible for the deaths. I thought this was a joke that one can be acquitted yet found guilty in civil court.
BTW, yes, I do think he was guilty but got lucky.

You can only appeal a case if there is an issue with the original trial. In most cases, due to double jeopardy, prosecution generally only has one shot in court.

.Because he was acquitted by a jury of his peers. Law says you cannot be tried for the same crime twice. Double Jeopardy. Why he was even acquitted is beyond me. He left a trail of blood all the way from the crime scene to his home. Why this animal is still free and why some of the black community is still making excuses for this filth is also beyond my comprehension.

You can't appeal a juries verdict of Not Guilty! Unless you can prove some illegality!
I agree he was guilty as sin, but we do not convict people by polls in this country!
Would you have the same issue if an innocent person was put to death by the state?

OJ also was found liable in a civil trial. In a sense, he was considered guilty, but it could not be proved for a criminal case.

Once you are declared not guilty in a court that is it.
However if we was found guilty that he could have been appealed.
It is called double jeopardy.

Only the defendant can appeal. Not the prosecutor. Double Jeopardy would be the reason.

Because you can't just keep prosecuting a person at higher courts. The jury acquitted him.
